What bridge is that? Is it a legit Hipshot? I want to buy the same body and I'm looking for an easy fit bridge.

I’m surprised you didn’t just drill a ground channel. A diagonal hole from the bridge to the cavity would work much better than the exposed wire.

You should drill all holes prior to painting to avoid the chipping.

Or just put down some tape in the areas he’s going to be drilling, should keep any chipping from occurring.
