Hello Totos San! What if the stopper smaller than the hook eye ring? It keeps slipping. Anyone could relate? May i know why you knot the assist to the hook like it was an eyeless hook? (I mean the main assist line to the solid ring doesnt go pass throught inside the hook eye but the outside of the hook eye) Thanks

Awesome demo! Thanks for the upload, buddy! Let me ask you this as a general rule wouldn’t you say that the wider the jig (in comparison to its length) the slower it would flutter down on the water column and the more likely to be designed for vertical jigging?

Should I use rings to tie assist hooks too? These rings are not sold in my country !!! lol so i just tied my hooks straight to jigs.

I see you done up yr hooks facing in each other, But I seen others doing it both hooks facing outwards , i.e. opposite directions. Hope you may enlighten if there are any differences or advantages with the hooks facing each other or opposite directions. Thanks in advance

Chen Hendrawan it works like a Claw when the fish is pooling is going to force the hooks to sink . More the fish pools the better it hooks. Hope i explained right

nice video, but your reliance on split rings is questionable. if you hook a fish on the trailing hooks you sre now depending on two split rings to hold up. risky.

You do realize that this is a slow jigging setup, right? Fished with high end rods and light PE lines , meaning that you will never use enough drag to straighten out split ring
@mytube36874 жыл бұрын
Split rings normally are very strong, even stronger than leader line and main line , so the leader or main line can break but split rings will not.

I dont know why everyone use split rings, i never used them, i just tie assist hooks and main line straight to my jigs and works for me very good, save your money and never buy split rings :)
