What a really interesting video, have dealt with MF 165 and upward power steering but never understood the valve on the MF 135 range. Thanks, more vids like that very much appreciated, all the way from the UK!!

Lance, I wonder if you over-pressured it? The blowing out of the o-rings and the gauge stuck at max might be telling you something! Could the PRV be set wrong?

Unless the relief stuck but I was having trouble getting it to relief. The needle on the gauge had come unstuck from the pivot. It all seems to be fine now, I have a new pump to fit wwhen I get the front king pins freed up.

Sounds like it might have been the PRV (pressure relief valve). As the power steering is its own circuit, I guess the pump outlet has its own PRV - which will solve your problem when you've changed it. Until then....be careful! Keep up the good work. @@BundyBearsShed
