A tip for you. The large arm also has to be hooked around the Philips screw. Also it should be straight in front of the spool. That should help with tension 😊

Yes, it must be hooked behind the Phillips screw! That's why that arm was moving to the left.

just got mine today, but the skein I wound didn't have a center pull. It's Big Twist Soft. It's a wonderful machine, but I had to unwind a section from the skein, then wind/cake on the winder, stop, and repeat. It took a very long time and it was frustrating. But, the cake wound perfectly on the winder. Great tension, an I'm thrilled with the end result. But I can't find any info or suggestions to help with skeins without a center pull. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for the great video. 🙂

Thank you for the tutorial. This was also on my wish list and bought it five years ago I took it out to use again and I don’t know why I cannot get the yarn to sit snuggly on the cone the cone seems to move so fast. Appears tight etc. Just putting this out here in case anyone else has a thought. Thanks again
