Thank you, I have the "exact" same 590A1 (50777). This helps me. Also I was thinking about buying a second longer Mossberg barrel for it. ~Mine is 'new' and I found with the Marinecote (Mariner) finish to be very stiff (sticky), as it did not cycle properly, and it dropped live cartridges (rounds) out of the bottom. I contacted Mossberg and they explained to me that the Marinecote models (because of the Cerakote coating put on it) are stiff at first but need to be oiled and used a lot before they loosen up later on. ~I am now looking at getting a Winchester SXP Marine Defender pump-action. It is lighter, smoother, and faster I think.

@@PanzerGunsAmmo ~Yes thank you for the advice, then I will need to break in mine like a shoe also. ~Yes, I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster from over 50 years ago, super reliable, very smooth like butter, it "IS" way more smoother and better than the 870A1. ~My very first choice to buy a Marine shotgun is the 870 Marine Magnum also. I would have never purchased an 590A1 Marinecote if I could get a hold of one, because the 870 Wingmaster "IS BETTER THAN" the 590A1 and Winchester SXP. The 870 Wingmaster "IS" the best shotgun on the market. "BUT" I cannot find a 870 Marine (Magnum), I also want one but no where to be found.? They are not being made anymore as far as I know. I would trade my 870A1 Marinecote (and plus about +$300) for a 870 Marine Magnum if I can find one.?

@@royjohnson465 yes they started production again, they are call Remington firearms I believe. I saw a few new 870 hitting the market, keep your eyes peel for a Marine Magnum.

Thank you! This was the only video that explained that you have to pull the action bars down to get them out. I was going bananas! I also have the Magpul options, so on mine I have to loosen the front sling attachment to get the barrel off and also the stock to be able to get the trigger group out.

Mine has about 100 rounds on it but stil doesen’t run smoothly, any tips what to do ?

I would say you need more than a 100 rounds through. Also get yourself some snap caps for dry practice, it will help and it’s cheaper in the long run.
