Assembly of a Hyper Compressor in Time Lapse

The Hyper Compressor is a high-pressure reciprocating compressor for low density polyethylene plants and compresses ethylene with a discharge pressure up to 3’500 bara. Burckhardt Compression has an outstanding experience of over 60 years in manufacturing Hyper Compressors.
The compressor seen in the video is part of the worldwide most powerful compressor system ever built for a LDPE (low-density polyethylene) plant. The compressor is about 11m long, 6m wide, 2.5m high and weighs 218 tons.

We have typical burckhardt compressor in our plant , upcoming shutdown we are going to replace plunger and packing & inspection for crank shaft . since commissioning 2015 till now working fine
