Steve ive tried asking this before but idk if you read the comments, when designing the SMX or SML, how did you determine torque values or any specific sequences? Ive always wondered how that happens, is there testing, is it a wild guess, trial and error?

That's a good question. As far as the torque of the fasteners I believe size, material, and thread pitch determines that.

I have a question on the lifter valley cover. You are using 4 fastners 2 on each endrail. In the video I didn't see how you are sealing that cover to the heads. The head gasket is creating a void to the valley cover.
