Way to go Damon. I love this summary of your car free commute. I do wish it was a bit more integrated though. Maybe we can get SMART to connect to Vallejo and CalTrain/Amtrack some day.

How long did the commute take?

Don't get me wrong, I want more public transportation and I think it's great the infrastructure is here for us to make such a journey, but I calculated this trip based on today's fares and schedules and this is a 7 hour $76.20 daily commute. 7 hours spent commuting a day is almost another full-time job. A car is around a 5 hour $30.72 commute, which is awful as well.

Oh, is Connolly a fan of bikes because of the DUI he received after trying to commit a hit-and-run when he drunkenly crashed into a stop sign? An example that drinking and driving can result up to a decade of high political office. What a role model.
