It may have been in a past video but I've a question. I noticed on the bottom of the front and rear exterior, you've a black surface on your first build. I'm trying to come up with something that will last to protect the plastic from rub and wear. (I know that the plastic can't handle dragging, one has to carry his boat.. but) What did you apply to yours?

It’s Kydex that I cut out and molded with a heat gun and then used the 3 mill double sided tape to hold it on. Kydex molds very easily and is very scratch resistant as well

@@gettingoutdoors256 Hey thank you for the reply. I've made knife sheaths etc. out of poor boy kydex. (PVC) and I've thought about doing double layer of PVC on mine with double sided tape and partA, partB Gorilla Epoxy. I may try it just to see how it fares. If it doesn't work, I'll follow suit on your design. Thanks Sir for the info.
