Hi, I went to my union dentist and they want me to do Osseous Surgery, I've asked for a Non Abrasive Surgical Approach like the Peroxide Gel Trays you've mentioned and they told me No, until I get the osseous surgery then they'll move forward with my dental care. ~ your lucky ~ I'm not really wanting that osseous surgery to minimize my pockets 😬

@@Queenie21266 Greetings my deepest pocket is 6mm moderate periodontal, I barely caught it in time to prevent further bone lose. If you need surgery, that must be some heavy stuff! The infection on the gums must have done some serious damage?

@@JesusGarcia-Digem Greetings to you and thank you for your reply. It's my bottom jaw that has bone loss, the last 2 steak chewers are 5mm and 6mm although the top is 4 & 5 which is probably why dentist won't change my temporary crown to a permanent one until I get the Osseous surgery. I've watched plenty of video's on here in what they do and it makes me sick to my stomach, seeing all that blood from gums being exposed. I'll be suffering for a awhile until I heal. That's why I'm looking for a 2nd option in a Non-Surgical approach of a procedure. I'm sure there's an other option in having my pockets shrink without cutting my gums and scraping, then stitching up. I'm dreading the whole thing. Thinking of the pain, a possible abscess bcuz gums were surgically opened, not being able to eat real foods until stitches heal. The biggest thing is, it has to be done on both top and bottom. I'm scared and afraid.. completely in my head about the outcome. Don't want to be in such discomfort with holidays and winter coming. My Dentist says, he'll see me sometime in February/March, when I'm all healed 😳

I have a concern about Grading. Does it have to be done after x-rays only to evaluate bone loss? What are the other factors to consider apart from bone loss?

The 74 year old grade B case, how is she only grade B? Percent bone loss /age has to be over 1.

I agree. This is clearly grade C when you look at the mandibular incisors.
