The easier way to remember the different standards and lengths is to take note of the suffix. Here's some examples... "T" for twisted copper up to 100 meters, S for short distance fiber(meters), L for Long distance fiber(kilometers), C for short copper connections(probably less than 100 meters), Z for extended distance fiber(probably between 70 to 100 kilometers), etc..

@@Ramel34 I recently connected the dots. I’ve never had to run cable or setup Infrastructure. Thanks for the tip. T/s/l/xl are on the exam. Not sure about the others.

@@CoachMikeyStudios I've run plenty of cables in my time. Even learned the hard way about not using a pass-thru crimper lol. I have yet to hear anyone use the terms 1000-base-T or any of the other terms in the real world. We simply say single or multimode fiber, gig or 10 gig.
