I was a NEET UG 2024 aspirant who was consistent in scoring 700+ in the final tests. I was hoping to get a rank within 1k but due to the uncontrollable factors ended getting 1.6k rank. I can relate with you as my exam centre was 20 km from my hostel (I lived in a hostel near my coaching in Nagpur). It was a hot Summer day. While travelling I was dehydrated and completely freaked out. I felt nausea on reaching the centre still managed to reach the classroom after all the checks. Adding to this, the invigilator distributed the paper 10 mins late. I had time management issue due to which I had to leave 4-5 Questions which costed me a score of 699. Thanks to inflation that even at this rank I could not manage into to the top govt medical colleges in the country. After all I got to know ki kitna bhi padh lu, if on the exam day I’m not calm enough then everything gets screwed up😭😭
