Always use gloves when doing head to toe assessment. That’s what my CI told me ☺️

Not really. Remember what are palpation, auscultation, percussion and inspection? Most of the time you don't need gloves using these data collection methods. Do you use gloves when taking temperature with the back of your hand? How about taking a pulse? Hindi kailangan maging magaling para malanan ito sus😅 Mahal ang tuition Mali ang tinuturo😅

@@tbf7393 im sorry but it’s kinda obvious that if you are taking a temperature, you don’t need to use gloves tho. Yung mga obvious one na hindi kailangan mag use ng gloves. Common sense lang naman dude 🫶

On our retdem we only use gloves sa part ng mouth, throut only

you should also wear a face mask when checking the mouth particularly for protection purpose.

Actually there's no facemask on the checklist but I understand your point, ma'am. In this assessment, you use both inspection and palpation. Maybe they didn't include facemask because in inspection, you note the smell😅😅 more importantly it would be very rude😅😅 nurse😅😅 rapport building
