I assume this is using Dataverse as the back end data source. This app looks very useful. I am trying to build something right now that will do something similar. I am trying to think how to setup my data model to show/track history like you have done. Do you need to build a mapping table between the assets and the checkouts, or will it automatically be able to do that with a one-many relationship between assets and checkouts?

Yes, this solution uses Dataverse to store all the related data. As far as tracking the location of the item, there is a Many-to-one relationship between the “Asset Allocation” table and the “Asset Item” Table….. when a record is added to “Asset Allocation”, it goes into the parent record (“Asset Item”), and marks it unavailable….. once the Asset Allocation record is marked as returned, the Parent “Asset item” is switched back to Available!

@@PragmaticWorks How can we update the contact table? So that we can select and assign a name. Currently, when I go to assign an item. The assign to drop-down is empty.

Great video, great material. Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, the UI components don't appear to be available with the download.
