A symptom of pre war racing. There were very few racetracks in existence before World War 2, so almost all racing was done on public roads like this. It was also more a battle of survival back then, a test of endurance for both car and driver.

Is the track set pre WW1? I saw the German Empire flag, which means it can't be later than 1918/1919

it is the National flag of Germany (1933-1935)

@@fishman501 33-35 the Nazis used the imperial flag, later on in 35 they adopted the swastika flag. So with this being 32 Reims it should technically be the Weimar republic flag which is the same as current day germany
