absolutely agree about RBR being one of the best tracks in the world for pure racing. sure, if you are looking for exciting corners or a thrilling time attack track, there are way better tracks in the world for that. but just for fights and pure racing, i think RBR is one of the best, very underrated track

As you mentioned with the sounds, they did recycle the AMG GT3 sound for the GT2 but it uses a very different engine IRL. The AMG GT3 uses the M159 6.2 L NA V8 whereas the GT2 uses the M178 LS2 4.0 L bi-turbo V8 which is closer to the M178 in the GT4 and Vantages except with a different crankshaft and everything to accommodate that. Think that is a pretty inexcusable mistake tbh

Good job talking this up Jardier, but I fear the GT2 cars will have a short shelf-life. ACC is GT3 and that's it, GT2 will go the same way as GT4. Anyway AC1/LFM is where all the fun is now 😊

There's a problem/bug now with lfm races where people will get instantly put a lapped down and will appear to be backmarkers, hopefully they fix that soon because its already happening often

The only thing acc needs its ingame ranking system like what LFM web site is and what iracing already have. Then with the accs pricing and graphics it would be the best sim out there. I rly dont understand why they dont do it...

It’s good to see some of the older cars getting some love, would like to see Kunos update some of the tracks as a fair bit has happened in the last 6 years, the biggest example is Spa, hopefully they can get round to it at some point. Looking forward to having a drive with the new GT2s could add even for to multi class racing!

@@JustMamba The only issue is that with Spa's changes they updated Raidillon to make it a lot smoother and easier to drive along with a wider run off, would be nice to see it come to ACC. I understand your point however.

I've honestly felt a bit underwhelmed with the gt2 pack... the cars seem to drive well enough. The pack just feels half assed, or rushed in many ways. The audio for many cars is literally just ripped straight from existing cars in acc. I just tried the merc gt2 today and the interior sound is ripped from the gt4, and the exterior sound while being different.. just doesnt sound quite right, very disconnected from the interior sound. I know a lot of these cars have the same engines, but there are still variations to the sounds, based on hp numbers, exhaust layouts... they could have at least tried to record real life sounds for them. Also I tried monza today with gt2 and something was WAY off. I suck at acc, and I was passing the ai like they were all down on power. consistently going 2+ seconds faster than them even with setting a horrible lap time full of mistakes. Lastly the brabham not being in the pack is just heartbreaking. That was without a doubt the coolest car that existed in gt2. And I find their excuse that "brabham doesnt exist anymore" kind of lame. I dont recall ever seeing the porsche 935 racing in a gt2 race.. but we got that? I would have much preferred the brabham instead of having 2 porsches that are essentially the same underneath. Over all the pack is just kind of... eh. It doesnt feel like the quality on par with what we got with the gt4 pack.

Love the dlc, and as lfm will incorperate a gt2 series i think i will be doing that series a lot more than the normal gt3, they're so fun to play with on track, good physics. Why is the 935 so light on ffb tho, at first i tought my wheelbase was on low torque mode

DLC seems kind of buggy. Trying the 991 GT2 around Mount Panorama and the rest of the field (AI) has glitchy bodywork and missing wheels. I think I've seen this behaviour in previous updates... Also the cars are missing for me in showroom when you are editing style and paintwork - weird. Oh well guess they'll patch this...

I really enjoyed driving the GT2 cars. Suits me better as a driver than the GT3's. But I'm worried that the class will be a fad, and most racers will still only focus on the ever popular GT3 class, and the two's might die out because of this. RBR was amazing though, loved it!

Can't wait to drive the GT2 Porsche on the Nordschleife! Feels much more like a street car than I expected compared to the 992 GT3, very forgiving and smooth. Fun, in a different way to the GT3's. It will mess with my GT3 lap times though because they drive very differently 😅

I'm sure some people have been misinformed. But officially nothing like that was ever said, Nordschleife is planned for a separate 2024 DLC in Spring.

I recon this is the second to last Content-DLC for ACC forever. With this being 1.9.6 and probably a Patch 1.9.7 before the Nordschleife Release end of March 1.9.8, there will be only one final Update 1.9.9 left. They chose those numbers for a reason, they could have easily had a couple of years ago 1.5 as 1.2.1 or 1.3.0 but chose to make huge steps in their number-iterations to someho reach 1.9.9 in 2024 and then release AC2/ACC2 with different cars (so if we are to get the new Corvette, Aston, Mustang etc. it'll have to be in a new game). I don't see Kunos make an ACC 2.0.0 release.
