For sure. As a German I lapped the Nordschleife in my several cheap rubbish cars (because I am not rich). And for sure. Nevermind which car you take there, for sim or in real live. Nevermind if you had 50 hp, or 500 hp this track is going to scare you to death, frighten you, make you happy, make you sweat, and make you feel like a hero and a blithering idiot at the end of the day at the same time. This track is the ultimate test for car and driver. If the car has technical issues of any kind they will show off. If you as a driver had any health issues, they will show off. If you had a little sneeze and a sprained ankle in the morning, you will have a heavy cold and a broken leg in the evening. So better get there in a good mood with a perfect car, if you are not a good driver. There is allways a towtruck and an ambulance constantly lapping the ring and they are only around if someone needs assistance.

A beast! I was at Paul Ricard in '86. Senna retired from the race and walked past the grandstand in front of us. I'll always remember him smiling and waving as he headed back to the pits.

I totally know and understand that, but I can't drive with his technique in the 98T because the boost pressure declines too rapidly, which costs a lot of time... Keep on racing 🏁🏁🏁

My Uncle visited the 86 Race at Estoril and had a chance to talk with the Mechanics. They told him that they run the Qualifying with a sealed off Wastegate. So basically the Boost on the Q engine was even higher. Nobody really know how high, same goes for the HP figure then ofc.. Thats for Senna only, team mates always had to run the Race engine.

Did a 5:46:9 today. I'm chasing you, Jimmer! Went from 6:36 to 5:46 in about 2 and a half weeks. Somewhere along the lines of 100+ laps to build up to it. Lots of spins and frustration of course. Learning to modulate the throttle and keep it on boost has been a great challenge. By far my favourite car on AC.

The rear wants to slide out not only due to power but also due to the transaxle these old f1's had.. and if you keep your grip and fly out the turn, well yes you said it understeered, that's also due to the transaxle transferring the weight excessively, created by a seesaw effect made by the engine and transaxle counter weighting each other around the rear axle playing pivot of seesaw.

I used to do this all the time with this car. All ways on full boost. I mastered the car and it was so fun. The best part is the engine can’t handle 2 laps with blowing up if it’s on full boost

Excuses, nah, Jimmy. That would be a beast to drive, period. 1200 horsepower in a car weighing just over 1190 pounds or so, is insanity. Good drive to even get one lap. I'm sure I'd of taken a week to even get one lap recorded, and even then, probably have to splice pieces of runs together as I doubt I'd be able to complete one lap without crashing that thing.

Try again with Damage off, 100% boost will kill the engine within one lap. it's a whole new dynamic to manage the turbo manually while driving. Sweet vid, sweet lap.

Most air tools require between 70 and 90 PSI. Any light-to-medium-duty air compressor can easily handle 90 PSI, but you always want the compressor to supply more flow than needed. Pro Tip: Always respect a PSI rating. 5bar is bout 72psi :)
