Assignment: Minor Speech #2: Black Excellence Maya Angelou

For Minor Speech #2 we are going to focus on Black Excellence. You are to select a public figure, actor, celebrity, influencer, athlete, author, artist, musician or entrepreneur that is from the past or present and it can be someone famous or someone not well known. Also, please note that many individuals today are mixed and have a blend of two cultures. The people who fall into this category are Blasian and Whasian people, but this expands into mixed black with international cultures as well. For example Naomi Osaka comes from a black father and Japanese mother. So you can pick someone who is mixed race.
Black Excellence is the theme where we celebrate and recognize the gifts,, talents, and impact of the individuals who have made an impact through their craft and achieved extraordinary success.
