Voices of Muslims Living with Mental Illness | Film 2 | Bassem Elghawaby

The second film detailing the Bassem's mental health journey that started in earnest in 1996. Talking about a whole array of topics, including the psychiatric system, bipolar disorder, personal development, faith, bullying, and creative writing. Bassem and his company Grassroots Multimedia (grassrootsmult..., conceived this crowd funded project, with generous contributors from LaunchGood, in partnership with muslimlink.ca/, their owner, as well as their Editor in Chief. The talented filmmaker for this project is Husam Alaghbari. Grassroots Multimedia has a vision to branch out to do more voices of mental illness films to include those in other diverse communities as well.
