The .243 handgun I feel was the only good weapon out of the pack, the 10mm and the .45 are just way too underpowered if you compare them with IRL sidearms, could've made an ammo change to have them work for the bears in the game, other than that the designs of the firearms looks great and I like the reload animations. Nice job on getting that diamond white tail. Great video as always.

Been a while since this pack came out so I’m sure if you have learned this or not but with the 45. You can actually fan the hammer while hip-firing which I feel is another cool animation

The .243 handgun is great because of that range and and rifle round penetration. Great gun for raising that handgun score.

Hey flinter, they seemed to have updated the range of the muzzle loaded gun (hudzik). Didn't see a note in the patch notes, but they changed the range from 50-100-150 to 100-150-200. Actually makes it a lot more useful, might be worth taking out for a hunt or two

I may have been a bit excited at the 10mm Glock. Finally, not only did we get a semi-auto pistol more powerful than a .22, but it was arguably one of the best semi-auto calibers for hunting. That's a definite purchase for me.

Maybe try the other ammo? The FMJ or hard cast usually gets penetration but the expanding may be better

One thing that I learned with wolves is that it’s best to hunt them when they are on another animal, like hunting a bison, it makes them more likely to attack

The 45 colt actually caries 6 rounds the reason it reloads 5 rounds its so the hammer don’t hit the bullet even when the hammers down it will still go off due to the sharp pin on the hammer to prevent that most people load the 45 colt with 5 rounds

I think they should make .22 lr and .223 10 round mags but keep 308 5 because a 10 round 308 would be kind of op and probably wouldn’t change much with taking accurate shots

I'll admit, I like the way the guns look but seems like the 243 is gonna be the jewel of the pack, the 45 I'm excited since that cartridge I saw you use and I believe it's a different 45 so this could be a good change for the 45 given it's history on Call of the Wild

This is EXACTLY what I wanted in a weapon pack. No longer am I going to fill space in my lodge with .357. Some much needed variety. Also can’t wait to finally have a proper cowboy load out for Rancho 🤠

@@Flintergaming just went on Rancho and found out that if you don’t have any ammo in the Rolleston while standing idle your character will start doing revolver spins 🤯

I think aggressive wolves might go smoother without the reflex sight or possibly even with hip fire.

In real life, pistol red dots are an amazing choice for animal defense.

@@WindowLickingDeer I've only ever used iron sights and have no problems instinctively aiming. In this game though, at least for me, the weapon rotates faster with iron sights then it does with scope equipped and that's the real reason I recommend the iron sights for wolves...just faster rotation.

@@Clark42EoC I find optics easier in real life. I don't know why, but I just find it hard to improve my accuracy with iron sights. If my life is on the line, I'd much rather have the added accuracy of a red dot.

@@WindowLickingDeer I completely get that...for me having used thousands of rounds through iron sights and not a single one with a red dot...a red dot would put me at a disadvantage...but that's just cause of what I'm used to versus what you're used to. Red dot may well be superior...just not for someone in my situation. If I'm being 100% honest I don't even look down my sights anymore most of the time.

For the next reserve on Call of the Wild, I want to see another Africa map with all of the biggest game. Elephants, rhinos, hippos, cape buffalo, lions, and jaguars, then some other smaller game species to round it out. These big game like the elephants, rhinos, and hippos should be class 10 animals and then they should add a .375 or a .416 that can take class 10 animals. I personally would love to see that.

Was kinda sad that they underpowered the 10mm compared to real life. IRL 10mm is more than capable of taking a bear but it's 1 class shy of even black bears in the game.

The whole point of a semi auto pistol is rapid fire. When you aim, shoot, stop, inspect, admire after each shot of course you are going to get attacked.

The Mangiafico uses 45 Colt and 410 Birdshot so maybe you just used all once and never bought new ammo.

Just checked, and the Mangiafico only has .45 Flat Nose Hard Cast, the 70 expansion/ 17 Penetration ammo. The .45 FMJ is new with this pack.

I really wish they wouldnt introduce more guns but rather make the maps feel more lively. Introduce some npcs, add an animation for getting jumped by wild cats and maybe add some animals...Why would anyone ever use a Glock to hunt deer?
