Acts 9:7 states: The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. This verse states that the men traveling with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the voice but could not see, but in Acts 22:9, there exists an apparent contradiction. The verse states the men travailing with Paul saw the light but did not hear the voice who spoke! And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. Did the men that traveled with Paul see the light or hear the voice? Why don’t we have records of these witnesses to testify to this significant event? The answer is simple; this event never happened.
