@@trvpduke my thoughts on that is that anti-magic is just a different wave length than normal magic, its possible that Star magic is on the same wave-length as anti-magic but on a different scale than before. Anti-magic could be just the first requirement to use Star magic, because it may have conditions before it's even possible to use and it may just be a limited to his demon-fusion. It would be very possible though that the star magic it brings with being a half demon and half human. What could've happened as well, is maybe Asta's mom was affected by lucifero already and that is how he found Liebe so quickly.

I know everyone likes the idea of Asta not having magic because it shows how even a magic-less commoner can become something great, but to me giving him magic could further amplify that symbolism, and giving him his own magic could help show that he’s not a monster to the people of the clover kingdom since many of them see anti-magic as evil and malevolent since magic is everything to them. I think that Asta’s magic will be reawakened in the event Liebe and him are severed from one another, with whatever villain they’re facing thinking it will make him powerless, but instead, unleashing his true magic power

Welp now coming back to this, turns out Yuno got the star magic. So what could Asta's magic be if he actually gets a new magic. I was thinking something like Void magic. I have no idea what it could be

I say Void magic because the most known way for a Sun/Star to die is to have it absorbed by a black hole/ void. And considering that Alan could be Asta's dad and Asta's mom has power that absorbs the magic of people and creatures around her then Asta's magic should be something based on both their magic. Flame and Absorption Magic to create magic on par with Yuno's Star Magic should hopefully be Void magic. And this void magic power should be able to create a space between Asta and whoever he's fighting, this space will slowly absorb the enemies mana while Asta's anti magic is not affected by his 2nd ability.

The theory that makes the most sense to me is that if Asta has magic, it would be the ability to change the form of magicless objects. One reason this makes sense is because astas mom's magic is to seal a magicless object inside of another and since most people's magic is similar to their parents magic, it makes sense that astas power would be related to magicless object. Another reason it makes sense is because we have seen astas swords change in form for no reason. He could have changed their form with his magic. Obviously I think Asta has no magic at all but if he did, this would make the most sense to me

It would only make sense if his dad was super powerful and had something very similar to that. But again, the whole appeal of Asta is that he isn't special. Having a dad powerful enough to kill royals would make him special. Edit: Lucitas magic is not to absorb magic and Life energy, that's a curse that was put on her by someone else Her magic is to seal magicless objects inside of other magicless objects

It is meant to be a finishing attack and drains all of mimosas mana after she shoots the powerful cannon) Mana zone: sea dragons sacrifice (noelle makes a sea dragons roar that’s 20x bigger than the normal one and whatever it hits, the spell explodes like a sacrifice)

The greatness continues in chapter 277! Seeing Yuno talk down to Zenon while he's bleeding to death with a hole in his stomach was so satisfying to see, especially after what Zenon did to the Golden Dawn and capturing both Yami and William to sacrifice them. I'm glad Tabata didn't waste too much time on this fight and moved on to the next dark triad member which is the super lame and annoying Vanica/Megicula. I must admit, reading/seeing Charlotte vs Vanica was a BILLION times more entertaining than Vanica vs Noelle (which was a bit lackluster imo) but it was so satisfying seeing Charlotte finally unlock her full potential and even get a new form called "Briar Queen" where she's controlling the blue and red roses to devour everything in sight. The look on Vanica/Megicula's face when Charlotte was controlling her curse and used it as an anti curse special magic was priceless! It was like that meme when they realize "At this moment, they f'd up!" Lol Vanica/Megicula really thought they was about to put up a fight and easily get rid of her roses but instead got devoured like her little minions lmao. That's when they realize the women and mages from Clover Kingdom aren't fodder and weak like Lolopechka and her spirit guardians. I just love how strong/powerful Tabata make female characters in this series: Mereoleona, Dorothy, Witch Queen, Charmy and Charlotte are all just absolutely amazing and crazy strong! I'm already hyped for the next chapter which I can't wait to see. Overall I give this chapter a 10/10. 🔥🐐🔥

Prediction (very long): Liebes Dad What if liebe and asta have the same dad and their dad has those 4 horns but liebe inherited the outer 2 and asta kinda inherited the inner 2. Liebes family probably all had anti magic and were high ranking because they were so talented with it but since liebe didn’t have anti magic nor magic when he was in the underworld, he got bullied and abandoned by his family. Liebes dad then goes through the gates to earth because he got mad at lucifer for killing his family because his family and lucifer had an argument and had a fight and knew that he would lose against lucifer despite him having anti magic and being a high ranking devil. When he gets to earth, he gets feared by humans and the people call the magic knights but liebes dad escapes before they arrive. He goes north and arrives at the spade kingdom. While he’s wandering near a lake, he comes across lecita who is chopping wood for her job. She gets frightened because liebes dad is a devil and was always told that devils are evil. Liebes dad tries to ask her for directions but she starts running, then he wants to ask her why she’s running from him so he chases after her. When she can’t run anymore, liebes dad asks lecita why she’s scared of him. Lecita says because he’s a devil. They have a small conversation about why she’s scared of devils. Lecita doesn’t get as scared afterwards and just walks back to get her wood and go back to her village. A couple days later when liebes dad is hunting for food, he hears a scream but doesn’t care. Then lecita comes running out of bushes minutes later and runs into liebes dad. She asks for help fighting a magic beast she ran into and liebes dad declines. Lecita begs for help but while she does that, the magic beast finds them but liebes dad just throws an anti magic energy attack at the magic beast and kills him. Lecita thanks him but he says he only did it because the magic beast was annoying. Lecita then invites liebes dad for dinner, liebes dad declines at first but then realizes that he doesn’t know what human food tastes like so he accepts. When liebes dad tries the food, he does that gag thing where he eats the food quickly and lecita is teasing him about it in a friendly way and liebes dad gets embarrassed. Lecita then continues to invite liebes dad over more frequently and for longer periods of time. They eventually become close friends. Months later, lecitas cat starts getting wet from liebes dad (think about it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), and she then starts letting liebes dad sleep in her house. Then she starts sleeping in his bed (accidentally from talking to him about personal stuff about their past and slowly falling asleep) After that, liebes dads pencil starts getting sharpened from lecita (think about it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). And one night, they smashed. Lecita gets pregnant and when she walks around her village, people seem to notice. Her friends ask her who the dad is and she doesn’t want to say because he’s a devil. When liebes dad goes inside lecitas house, someone sees and calls the spade police to investigate lecita. When they arrive, they bust lecitas doors down and ask her why a devil is in her house. She can’t make any excuses so she just says that liebes dad is the dad. Everyone there is in shock and the spade police try to arrest her and liebes dad but liebes dad threatens their life. But loyce and ciel, the king and queen of spade are there and loyce threatens liebes dad and lecita (loyce is supposed to be very powerful). Liebes dad then throws an anti magic attack on the ground near them for him and lecita to escape. Loyce goes after them and stops them. He says he will kill liebe right then and there but lecita tries to defend him but the spade police stop her and liebes dad says to run away. Loyce doesn’t care, he just wants her out of the kingdom and loyce says she will get killed if she ever steps foot on the spade kingdom again. Lecita starts crying and runs away since she has no other choice. Since loyce has messed with forbidden magic before, his wind can kill liebes dad and he did. Lecita watched as she rans away in tears. She survives the grand magic zone and goes to the clover kingdom. While at the clover kingdom, lecita moves to nean, a town in the common realm and gives birth to asta there. But days after astas birth, she gets a curse from megicula ordered by lucifer because she’s the significant other of liebes dad. Megicula communicates with her and tells her that she now absorbs anyones mana and lifeforce but megicula didn’t say if you have devil blood that you’re life force won’t get absorbed so lecita thinks that asta will die near her When lecita hears that, she immediately packs as much things as she could and runs as far away as possible with asta without stopping. She runs to hage and drops him off at the church at night thinking that he still has some life force left. Lecita then runs to the forest but right before that, she sees a man with a robe on who just put a baby in front of the church. The next day, megicula tells lecita that anyone with devil blood can survive since her curse can’t drain devils life force. When she heard that, she wanted to get asta back but they already got him from the front porch and she will drain their mana and life force if she goes near them. Later that day, she finds a dirty 5 leaf grimoire with no mana. She seals it in a bottle with her magic and takes it with her. Days later, she meets liebe and the same thing happens After liebe gets sealed in the grimoire, the grimoire tower guy finds it laying there, picks it up and puts it in the tower.

I think your prediction is wrong, in the Manga they literally stated Liebe was the one who entered the gate and went to the human world, met Licita, and also "devil blood" that survives licita's magic don't think that's true, the Manga stated Liebe had no magic therefore he can stay with Licita without his magic draining and life force draining and the Anime stated Mana is related to life force, if one has no mana, they have no life force, that's why Liebe was able to be near Licita without having to worry, Liebe was sealed inside the Grimoire due to Lucifero trying to possess him, so Licita seals Liebe in the Grimoire to keep Lucifero away

Lecitas body absorbs mana and life force. If lecitas body also absorbed devil life force too, then liebe would be dead. Asta and liebe still have life force because their ki can still be sensed since yami can sense astas ki and asta can sense liebes ki. Even though mana is connected to life force, asta and liebe still have life force.

@@Lackifall Well, I got a theory too. It is possible that Asta and Leibe and the same mother and father. That explains why lichita wasn't scared of liebe. As a human and devil having chid, Asta got the human form and liebe got the devil form. I know the age difference but it is also possible that in devil relam time works differently. So, that made liebe a bit older then Asta. That also sums up the no magic thing that both Asta and Leibe were the only ones who had no magic. And there is no other devil who has anti magic. Its totally unique and was made by gravity magic + absorption magic + sword magic. And it happened when lichita sealed liebe in the 5 leaf grimore. Leibe and Asta doesn't have any magic because maybe this happens when a devil and human gives birth to child. Leibe simply happens to get the anti magic by luck. It wasn't his awakened power.

It could be if theyre half brothers each has part of star magic in them and when in true devil union form it unlocks their ability to use it. It doesnt have to be cancelled out by antimagic either, Asta could possibly choose to turn a sword white/original coloration with it while the other is consumed by antimagic.

In the chapter where asta was fighting his demon, we also saw a scene where Lichita left Asta at the church. If Asta actually has star magic or any magic for that matter, will his grimoire change like with dwarf Charmy? And Yuno and Asta need to keep their duality so if Asta gets star magic which is kind of like a light in the darkness (I know it sounds weird but I thought of it thanks to that glow when he fought Nacht) will Yuno get a new dark side that overshadows his usual character (like maybe *cough* despair and a fifth leaf for his grimoire)? I always thought the light was real symbolism in that Nacht' s magic is shadow and his mana zone cloaked the lit room in darkness, the when Asta Antimagic flared to life it erased the literal magic darkness in the Room and the symbolism being Antimagic is the light in the dark. Lucifer didn't know leibes name because he had a the different name in the Underworld but when he came out and met Lichtia she give him his new name that's why Lucifer doesn't know because he was never told his new name that he probably never had a name in underworld

i think it's zagred's horns that asta has since he was the one who possesed licht (the owner of the 5 leaf grimoire). When Zagred possesed licht he turned the 4 leaf grimoire into a 5 leaf one. After the massacre of the elves which was orchestrated by Zagred, secre used forbidden magic to imprison him. (so he no longer inhabits the 5 leaf grimoire but still it didnt revert back to a 4 leaf grimoire). Licita then found the 5 leaf grimoire and gave it to liebe to protect him from danger, which then asta inherited which explains why asta has 4 horns. Plus the 2nd set of horns looks similar to zagred's horns

This theory is most definitely the most interesting one I’ve seen so far. Asta using anti mana along with star magic IS POSSIBLE. Anti mana comes from liebes and the swords he uses acts as a conductor to transfer anti mana from liebes to asta. Maybe asta could transform into a half devil without the devil union from liebes, causing a separate transformation like how charmy transformed to a dwarf. And the half devil transformation could have star magic, and astas devil union would have anti mana. If he combines both of them he could probably surprass captain level into wizard king strength. Having star magic course throughout his body while having anti mana as an armor or some shit. Anti mana skin + star mana body transformation or sum shit

Lichita absorbed luciferos magic when he tried to possess liebes after realizing he was the only devil to be in the main realm. Although lichita did say she met another devil before she met liebes. Could be astaroth or some high ranked devil. The star magic is definitely more interesting then gravitation magic though, maybe asta has the power to call down certain stars and gets stronger with the stronger star he calls down. Would be neat

I've always speculated that Asta has Mana. People says it ruins the point of his character because he is supposed to defy all odds, but I don't think so. Though he has mana that basically defies all mana, Anti Magic or Anti Matter I guess does mesh with certain types of affinities and Elements which wouldn't make it Impossible for him to use and Wield mana

This theory is a solid and awesome one. I've seen another one about him having the absorbing magic like his mom but this one kinda beats it. Also I would love this to be true. I don't know why people would hate that but I would love that. Him having magic only ensures he becomes wizard king cause if you think about it, he will not be chosen no matter how good he is if he doesn't have magic. Let's say they have a choice between Asta, Luck and Noelle for the next wizard king. No matter how much stronger Asta is, the others are just as capable and if they could pick Royalty that has magic over a commoner that that doesn't, who do you think they'd pick even if he was that much stronger than them cause they're still very capable. So I like this theory because it helps Asta realize his dream much easier.
