Just great as usual, really wish they would look at some of the Cream (1966-68) songs to cover as they were a trio super group that mixed Hard Rock, Blues and Psychedelia into their songs. Cross roads, White Room, Strange Brew, I Feel Free, Sunshine of Your Love or Spoonful. They were a major influence on Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, both bands that Asterism has done a medley cover for. These kids are going to be the same super group as Cream but without the ego wars and in fighting they will likely be even better!!!

So right on! I've written much same opinion, that as a 70 year old life time guitar aficionado, Asterism is the most exciting trio I've heard since Cream in 1966. When Asterism was in Texas, they superbly covered "Scuttle Buttin'," one of SRV's signature instrumental tunes. In so doing, Asterism earned HUGE admiration and respect from many Blues/Rock fans like myself, who aren't into metal. Their talent is truly incredible, off the charts, no limits. I so admire their humility, respect for their families, their joy in music, loyalty to each other. Also like the fact they get high on their music, rather than substance as so many did during the 1960s and '70s. To me, Asterism has no limits, musically. I do hope, as you point out, they broaden their musical interests, explore blues, blues rock and jazz, and incorporate these foundational sounds into their musical compositions.

Agree totally. I've hoped Asterism would at least listen to Cream, Ten Years After, Hendrix, blues rock, to broaden their musical horizons. They're talent is exceptional, worthy of global recognition and acclaim. I admire them for writing much of their own material, but also enjoy their remarkable interpretations when they cover other artists who influence them. Cream did much of the same, playing both blues based rock and their own compositions. I wish Asterism every success. Regardless of what they play, I'm their fan for life!

Thank you so much for posting this! I saw that they had done this on the setlists site, and I was hoping somebody had recorded it. 😎👏

Guess it would have been an abrupt slow down to segue to "War Pigs" at the end. My favorite Sabbath is "Fairies Wear Boots" maybe they could work that in the medley sometime.
