Honda Accord Exhaust Upgrade 3.0 V6 6th Gen

In this video I show how to remove the oem stock dual exhaust and upgrade to the bolt on DNA Motoring cat back exhaust system on the 1999 Honda Accord 3.0 V6. Exhaust kit was purchased from Amazon and listed below is a link to it. This kit will work on the 6th generation Honda Accords 1998-2002.

Well done! I have a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe 3.0 in what looks to be the same color and when the time comes for a new exhaust this one looks like a great deal! I am not into the ricer sound of a lot of these cars since I am 40+, but this one sounds great!

I have a 09 Civic. The car was making a clicking sound up front while driving. I thought it was the cv axle. Yesterday I looked under the car and found a LED light strip hanging over the left axle. I had someone replace the starter a few years ago and he must have left the light in the vehicle. I have had the worst luck with local mechanics so I try to do anything I need done myself now. Your videos are some of the best on YT.

All three of the catalytic converter bolts will be 14mm. The rust must have eaten away 1mm of the metal

I have the the racing dna exhaust with bolt in silencers and the headers plus the y down pipe and the flanges dont match up had to cut and turn them plus the y pipe had to be cut to clear the oil pan! I was kinda disappointed in this company

@@AshleyandAlex muffler delete with a quality muffler if not leave it stock and run an intake and listen to the vtec crossover inside the cabin. it sounds better than any exhaust on the v6

@@AshleyandAlex not if you use a quality parts. I left the cat on mine and removed the axle backs and had a single exit put in with a vibrant muffler

I just purchased this too for my 99 ex v6... if i get longer hangars.. will i not need to weld? Im not tryna have anything welded lol

I didn’t need to weld anything just had to get that little extension pipe.

On your video you said this kit is fit on 97-01 accord but on the link you said this kit will fit on 98-2002?and i have a 97 accord v6 so im a little bit confuse

Yes this actually fits better on the 2 door coupe you won’t have to come up with that small mid pipe extension should just be able to bolt it right up.
