Launch brand scan tools are the best at hunting down misfires. I have an Xtool D7 and a GearWrench BTSmart scan tool. Both are considered to be good bi directional scan tools. These Launch Creader elite tools are better than both my other tools and cheaper. These are a must buy for anyone who does their own work. These are an amazing value if you just work on your car. They also make a model for $200 that does all Ford, GM and Dodge products including all the subsidiary companies such as Jeep or Lincoln or Buick for instance. Best tool for DIY. They also have dedicated brand models and the BMW or Mercedes models also do some coding. 🤯

BCG Great video. My 2012 2.5 mazda 6 isn't making heat. The engine can run and idle all day long and stay right in middle of the gauge, but only my upper radiator hose gets hot, lower one and the heater core hoses stay cold. Thernostat was replaced by mechanic last month. But it didn't fix my no cabin heat issue. So i think i got a bad thermostat installed and need to replaced it? So far - ive confirmed radiator is full of coolant to the cap. No bubbles. Ive squeezed the rubber hoses a bunch. -top hose is hot, bottom hose and heater core hoses are cold. My cabin fan is blowing, but only cold air. Occasionally i do get some heat but rarely Are these the likely symptoms of a thermostat that isn't opening?

After fiddling around with this unit. If you find you amp is too powerful. Or do not want a backup camera and don't want it to come in when you reverse. Go to settings Select Car settings Go to factory and enter 000000 You will able to adjust your amp and turn off back up camera detection

This is by far the best video for doing the pan gasket and pickup tube. My only suggestion is to get an adapter plate. ICT billet has them. That gives you two bolts to hold the oring down, instead of just one bolt. All blocks have a second threaded hole but they don't utilize it from the factory..(Depending on the style pickup you have, there are two different options) Common spot to lose oil pressure. Knocked mine out last night. Since I had an idea of what was ahead thanks to your video, it was smooth sailing.

You might be able to but I don’t think they sell replacement ones plus the pcv valve on mine was still good. The problem was the gasket.

This video was sooo helpful. Great amount of detail as you went step by step without missing anything. I had previously changed the heater hose elbows to the Dorman aluminum ones and changed the waterpump. I did it without taking the waterpump off the cover or taking those two long studs with the torx ends. Also saying the bolt size for everything ensured I had all the right tools before I began. Thanks again. 5 stars⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Great video - very informative. I've found that soaking the nuts / bolts with penetrating oil for several hours makes them much easier to get on and off. The back one is always tricky, because as you showed, of its location and interference from hoses and brackets.

Fantastic job on this video, I have a late 03 f350 CCSB with a 110k on it that I bought with 6k at 6mo old. Icp was only issue I had but oil cooler temperature delta was getting high. Truck is rusty from Michigan winters so I bought a non running southern 04 and going to go through mine and swap it into the 04. Thanks for posting your story. M only criticism is I cringed at the cleaning of the gasket surfaces with the greased up cam in it. Seems like that would be a magnet for debris to stick to, think I would have put that in after cleaning but otherwise great video!

Just did mine today and I was glad I found your video to show me how. I think the hardest part was getting that 10mm bolt back in that holds the harness and tranny lines at 35:30. I found if you use a 6" extension you can go over the top of the axle bracket and under the frame, its a straight shot right in to the hole. There was no way I was getting my hands up in there to start and tighten that little sucker.

I believe this car had around 80k if I remember right. It all kind of depends on the type of terrain your driving on if you mainly do highway they can last 100k plus miles but if your doing constant dirt, washboard roads, or live in an area where potholes are common they may only last 10k miles.
