Astigmatism Test: Two Simple Tests

I've been professionally diagnosed with astigmatism and none of the lines seemed darker for me 😂😂 If anyone wants a 3.5 year later update, i figured out how it make the lines show darker. I need to hold the screen a full arms length away and rotate it 90°, and then line sets 1 and 7 are very noticably darker than the rest. So if they're all blurry and none are darker, try holding it further away!

The dark ones were lighter for one eye than the other and the lighter lines were even lighter like wtf btw I was professionally diagnosed too so it got even worse for me

Yeah for me on the second test, 2 lines looked dark blue, and 2 others seemed kinda dark yellow

i was diagnosed with astigmatism on my right eye and indeed, some lines were darker when covering the left eye, however when covering the right eye all lines looked the same

Yes this does work for anyone who has astigmatism you need to close your good eye ....I have astigmatism in my right eye ie I watched all with my right eye and it's amazing to see some lighter than others

Idk about you all but i can activate and deactivate this blure thing and it help me stay longer without need to close them (my record is 1h)

Diagnosed with severe astigmatism, I definitely saw a few dark lines, but some of the arrows weren't pointing to the ones I saw as dark, except the top ones

i don't think the areas are specifically pointing to lines you should see as light or dark if you have astigmatism, they're just unnecessarily pointing out lines to explain what the paragraph is talking about.

I didn't expect it to work on Me, and yes I got different Astigmatism in both eyes. I only noticed number 4 in the Left Eye and number 4 and 5 in the Right Eye as the most vivid colour than the rest

Mine was 6 in the left eye and 2 in the right eye... so combined my astigmatism likes to make EVERYTHING blurry! YAY! -__-

My left eye sees the horizontal lines darker than the vertical and diagonal lines. But when i open my right eye and close my left eye all the lines are equally black

That means you just have astigmatism in one eye. That's pretty common. I have it in both.

Arrows don't matter, just focus on the lines. I have oblique astigmatism in both eyes, and in my left eye I see the section labeled "6" as darker, and in my right, it's the section labeled "2". I only watched this video to see how accurate a test it was, and it's very accurate!

Fr all of the lines are the same, like this ain't a joke to make ppl think their eyes suck when they really don't? Cuz I'm having an extremely difficult time believing the lines aren't different shades, the only ones that appear black to me are the center vertical lines, the rest are significantly lighter and the horizontal lines I almost didn't even notice bc of how light they are :') :') :')

I don't understand. I don't see the difference of the lines in one eye. I do however notice that all the lines look darker with my left eye than my right. Does that mean mine is worse because I believe my left eye has astigmatism. Edit: I do see the difference now. Nearly every line in my left eye looks darker than I think 2 of them.

I have astigmatism so I tried it and follow the instructions and it's right i see some darker lines, then i used my new eyeglass and the shades of the lines are all equal.

That blue on black was terrible...Yes I do have astigmatism...More in the left but still in the right eye too......I can not read small print either...Great test..

Its funny how my cousin lied about having a astigmatism. He drive motorcycle in busy city, he use his phone almost half a day and he have graded glasses when he use his phone. I think he pretend because it sounds cool. I know my cousin he’s a social climber and i hate him so much
