First, thank you for posting the video. Some of us have to have ACI though we don't ever touch concrete so nice to have a video to help prepare. BUT, according to ACI, you cannot use the same rod or you will fail that question. Yes, it is that ridiculous.

Every time we go to get certed the proctors say something along the lines of, "The only time you'll ever have to do a rollameter in your life is when you come back for recertification." In reality this is an unnecessary and unreliable test that nobody uses.

@@swiggityswooty9187 You won't be thinking that as soon as they put you on a 300+ yd elevated deck or parking deck extension pour (or anywhere else the EOR specifies lightweight concrete for that matter).......You'll be hating life then.......bring a co-worker along, hee hee.

@@swiggityswooty9187 I placed lightweight concrete on a bridge deck rehab project on Interstate 84 in Pennsylvania, 700 cubic yards, after the concrete pour, the deck was turned into a swimming pool for curing , the deck had to have water over it for 14 days.

@@SoaringEagle1 when i got my cert for first time 3 weeks ago they said i would never have to do it besides test, have a 180yd lightweight pour tomorrow at 4am i was just told about 5pm tonight (the night before)…now i’m back to studying it😂😂😂 3yr old reply lmao
