This is a terrible review. You’re driving it wrong. The V12 Vantage s is not about 0 to 60 times. It’s about enjoying the driving experience and how that experience makes you feel. Stop comparing the car with cars that have double clutch gearboxes. If you want double clutch and don’t want to lift off the accelerator when changing gear, get a 911! Look at the auto car review!!

its still an attractive vehicle and that V12 is the best thing the vantage S has... but i agree the transmission, the technology, and some of the interior pieces are starting to look dated / "early 2000's feel." and the performance is something that i know the Vantage is not "meant" for.....but its just sad that a M4, corvette, or 911 are for most part superior performance vehicles... if you are spending 300K+ it should beat something at least 1/3rd its price tag. and good little skit in the beginning. nice review thanks for pointing out the bad and not just overlooking it :)

97.36% of those who nitpick about the Aston's numbers and say they would buy something else that has better numbers will never exploit the potential of those other cars anyway so it's all theoretical bench racing. Heck, most of them will not be able to afford any of the cars anyway so it's all sour grapes. You buy these cars for the way they make you feel. You want absolute speed, go buy a dedicated track car and see what you can do.
