Fast forward 15y and we all wish we bought the manual.

The manual transmission is thought of by many as the one to have. The Sportshift II gearbox is still sublime, used correctly.

Almost everyone that has tried the sportshift says it's horrible. Problem continues when manufacturers don't accept reality

@@jaywalking89 Having driven every variant many times, I don't think it is horrible in the slightest. Single clutch paddleshifts live on with a number of manufacturers, including in Valkyrie. They are superb fun, you just need to know how to drive them well. Interestingly, single clutch paddleshift was never considered a problem in a Ferrari It was considered F1 tech trickledown - F355, F360, F430, 599 etc, etc.

@@HWMAstonMartinLtd plus their are after market flywheel and software ( if it's early model ) to improve the clutch feel and life.
