I live in Ireland and I was in Westport when we were to play Young Boys. I was wearing my Villa shirt and a few Villa fans (even an Everton fan) wished us luck. So the fan base is certainly everywhere. UTV!

We got an 'Up The Villa' in North Conway, New Hampshire this Summer from a local in a beaten up old pick-up truck. My lad was wearing the green and black away shirt from a few years ago too. Made our day.

I grew up with a soft spot for Wolves when I'd have to listen to them on the radio instead of Villa. The tales of Steve Bull and all the near promotions and heartbreaks of the time made me like them. Then I met a few Wolves fans who had an utter disdain for all things Villa that really surprised me and took me back a bit. I was slagged off even after revealing my respect for them. Now I've met more Wolves fans the respect has vanished. They class us more of a rival than we class them, that's for sure. I've also discovered we are not a very liked fanbase in recent times. Apparently we are an entitled, mid table, deluded club who lives off last centuries achievements. I see it as fallen giants getting back to our feet and recent seasons have shown that UTV VTID

I,m glad you've picked up that Carlos has done that pass before ,ive seen it at least three times even last week in the champions league ! but got away with it.he never seems happy at all ,playing like someone we wanted to improve on . good pod boys utv

If Kosta can play against Spain and Nico Williams and previously play against Man City in the champions league…both games massively successful…then why cant he play against Bayern? Where is the logic?

I’m with you. It’s the only thing I’ve been a bit confused about this season. Kosta has a very high ceiling, that seems obvious. His time will come, I assume. UTV!

Stourbridge gets a shout! I’m a black county guy who has lived in Glasgow for 15 years so I’m out of it. But growing up it wasn’t really a thing with wolves and Albion with me anyway and tbf not really Blues either because we were out that Birmingham rivalry. I hate the Albion the most because I didn’t like a guy at primary school who supported them 😂 but I’m here for midlands football. It’s been to long where it’s been LANDAN teams championed. I’m here for all of us. As long as we’re the best! 😂 UTV

I think that the EFL Cup should be restricted to the EFL clubs that would cut out the Premier league players playing too much football imho. But I get the knock on effect for the lower league clubs. Perhaps there is no perfect solution?

Can villa win the league? I ask bcuz, we are such a good squad, mixture of experience and youth, ...man City without rodri now,....arsenal, so near so far, all the pressure is kn them, Liverpool the same,....cud we do a " Leicester "?

cap players minutes, we have squads for a reason, they be complaining about the amount of games, but wont give someone on the bench the chance to play instead of them. They havent got a leg to stand on. Cap the minutes, and the players will be forced to select when they give a chance to another player in the squad if they dont want to play all the games. its silly that they are even complaining about it.
