I see the 3051 often here in Saint Helens and usually paired with 3003. Actually, it has been on the tracks on my frequent trips along Hwy 30 to where they join the BNSF lines in NW Portland. We also have BNSF engines and once I saw a CN engine come through the track by my house. (those usually have tanker cars on them and lately go through around 3 or 4 in the morning) It has been a bit of time since a train has stopped where the PNWR office sits, but the switching yard is still very active here in Saint Helens. Thanks for posting this. I haven't seen a train go through Rainier in many years since I rarely go north anymore.

I was on my lunch break when I watched your video. Didn't get to finish. There is a crew stationed at Rainier. It uses be stationed in St. Helens, but that has changed.

I have driven along this line on the way to Astoria many times. It would be great if freight traffic went all the way there, but I think they would need to do extensive rework to make that happen now. I must say that the wrapping on that drywall doesn't look all that great.
