I have a question, I got a used Astra and the interior light wasnt working. I figured the light bulb was out and that it was an easy fix. Turns out that I have 12v constantly on the interior light (it's always on) regardless of if the doors are open or closed and the time duration knob doesnt do anything at that point. I do not have a dedicated interior light relay in my fuse box. I looked around the web for where to track down the fault, can it be the switch module shown in the video? If so can it be opened and repaired? I'm an electrician/electronics tehnician but I never worked on a car before... Regards

I would try changing the switch first they're only about £20-£30 on ebay.

It was the driver door switch, it works now@@Street_Fitter

Just unscrew the plastic cover and move the metal clip then it's just a wire to pull off, I usually just do videos as and when things are needing done to the car
