You weren't taking it to the red line? Max torque in these is at 3700rpm, fair enough, but max power is at 5000rpm, so to test it's acceleration you shouldn't have been changing up at 4000.

I shifted when it stops pulling so hard, so at arround 4k. Anything past that is slower. I dont't think it can rev to 5k. You can look up some charts from dyno and see the power loss at those rpm🙂

This car isn't stock.Stock 1.9 CDTi is revving up to 5000 RPMs easy,but this one is chipped.We don't know which RPM is stage 1 1.9 CDTi delivers the max power.

I don't see a point of reving it to 5k, if max power and torque end a lot sooner (arround 4k).

In this car you dont go over 4300, 4000 is a little to Early. But over the 4300 the have no more Power. In my opinion one of the best daily driver. Better with agr closed
