Compre un opel astra 2010 y venia con los mismos síntomas o incluso peor y gracias ati pude solucionarlo ojo que no soy mecánico ni nada solo seguía tus pasos pero no exactamente igual use una lija 2000 y papel de cocina e gastado como 5 euros y a quedado de maravilla se siente y corre mucho mejor y el motor se escucha mucho más tranquilo no ise la regeneración ni nada pero me da el mismo consumo que ati una ves que lo e echo espero dure mil grasias desde zaragoza España.

The pump regulator valve does not always fail, more than 50% of the failures are due to the pressure limiting valve that is in the fuel rail, not the sensor, the limiter is a bolt that protrudes from the common rail rail. It remains open and the ramp pressure drops No siempre falla la válvula reguladora de la bomba, mas del 50% de los fallos son por la válvula limitadora de presion que va en la rampa de combustible, no el sensor, la reguladora, un perno que sobresale de la rampa de common rail. Se queda entreabierta y baja la presión de la rampa.

Hi i just scv valve changes and i had egr valve cleaned but my car on first start RMP cage still going up and down. What should i do. I am tired. I invested so much money and changed many miechnik. Eveybody just chnaged something. And xar still the same. Tell me what should i do. I had changed. Oil filter, glown plugs, EGR only cleaned throat ,scv Valve presure pomp. Timing belt, battry, and few elctroc fuses. Oil and all filtors.. please help me. I gave Astra 1.7 mark 3 ,2005 1686 cm 74 kw.

You don't need calibration of the scv because you only cleaned it right?

1.7cdti jerking under acceleration and rough idle intermittently. Cleaned EGR, changed fuel filter. No codes but a low reading on fuel rail pressure sensor in live data? Any ideas? Would it be this? Thanks mate

@ruulgamba you can blank it off but you will have to get it re mapped or you can reduce the hole on the intake with a plate .

Tak mam ten sam problem z moim Astry 1.7, wyczyściłem EGR. Zmieniłem świcie. Ale nic. Dzisiaj od mechanika wiedziałem z zmienić jaki sensor do Turbo. Otwarałem filtra tam nie bardzo niski poziom rupy. Wypełniłem rupy do filtry. . odpowietrzłem wszystko. Mam nadzieję że będzie okej. Co ty zrobiłes?

Hi, if the dpf light is on. First try going to motorway and drive for around 5-10 min in low gear, it should clean itself and the light will turn off. It helps for me.

I think it is. I decided to replace mine adter rough idle in Zafira 1.7cdti (2014). Looks the ssme. But check engine code..its at the back of the engine, not far from oil filter…

What if I took it out clean put back the same regulator and do the learning process via diagnostic tool, is this good or bad bcs you said only new parts have to be programmed to learn and mine is very strange now it takes more fuel than in average and gas pedal seems to be heavier on the foot, any solution?

Hi, this fix is only for diesel engines (and not all have the same fuel pressure regulator). Because your car is petrol, the problem could be different from mine.

the part is a switch, therefore it has no electronics, the electronics are elsewhere, so 'programming' is not necessary

Hi, your car have different fuel pressure regulator. I would suggest to change it, and learn the system after. P0089 means there is a problem with fuel pressure.

It was fuel pump in tank
