Just bought myself a power scan. Love that AC setting and mini scope function. So easy to locate the supply, ground and signal wires now.

Blimey , just been scratching my head around the identical start up issue on a Nissan Almera N16 . No engine check light and no fault codes though . But it does have signal for the LPG ECU taken/soldered on the camshaft sensor so either the wiring or the sensor are "compromised" with regards to proper signal . Excellent mechanic Mr. Matt !! very skilled , keep posting videos what ever you're working on ! . (p.s. you certainly deserve an nice garage for working in doors)

Replaced my astra camshaft sensors with brand new Lucus ones a few months ago and they were giving intermittent none starts, Replaced them again with Genuine Vauxhall ones and cars been fine since, i found the Lucus ones have very weak megnets.

That's good to know, doing the job twice due to bad parts is annoying. Cheers Matt

I wish this was the problem with mine, I’ve had both new cam sensors, new crank sensor, new timing belt kit new cam dephaser pulleys, new cam solenoids, and yet I still have p0340 intake open circuit with rough running and really long cranking.. 😢

@@StopMeFast the customer of this car has said that his long crank time has returned, there may be a part 2. Thanks for watching
