Less than 2 years into HSR and all the harmonies have multiple buffs that all overlap with each other; Sparkle got powercrept out of her specific niche by a character who wasn't even in that niche. ZZZ is ramping up even faster; they added an attack and dmg buff to Caesar's kit even though HER niche is quite clearly supposed to be defensive comfort. Want an example of buffers who have obvious, specific niches? Look at A-ranks like Soukaku (ice DPSes) and Seth (anomaly DPSes), both of whom have already been replaced with generalist buffers, because the generalists are S-ranks who just straight up have more amplification. If they want to powercreep a generalist, they just have to release another generalist with bigger numbers, and I think it's obvious by now that they aren't shy about that.

I think for most missions it won't matter since it really hasn't at this point. Plus we've had shield givers which are basically healers. It's mostly gonna be nice utility in places like the Tower and essentially replace avocadoboo.

Game isn't super hard in the first place. Her healing just makes something like high level tower easier dealing with the stupidly high buffed mobs. For clearing everything else it's just a nice extra.

99% of the game isnt hard, the only hard content is the endless tower where you would appreciate having a healer than not, most of the time healing isnt necessary, her healing actually has no use outside of endless tower right now [and maybe in the hollow zero 'exploration']

@PuroMew No matter the platform, the only character that can quick assist backwards is Seth. I know mobile can apparently switch characters only forwards, but I've only ever played on console, where I can easily switch both directions with R1 and L1. That is, unless a quick-assist is active at the time, in which case I can only ever switch forwards, no matter what I press. I'm almost 100% positive that is the case on PC as well.

@@brodericksiz625 Nope, in mobile there is a setting for switching backwards. By dragging the quick assist button, you can switch backwards. If you want proof I can record and post a video about the quick assist mechanic in mobile. Maybe even showcase some teams that utilise this mechanic(Quick swap Miyabi/Yanagi team, Zhu Yuan Quickswap, Harumasa Team) I will even include where it can be found in the settings. However, as you have mentioned you play on console and as I myself am a Mobile Player with no Console available right now, I cannot say the same thing.

I'm in dire need of a good support so I'm pulling for her. I really don't like using Soukaku for my Miyabi so she will be a heaven-sent edit: As a mod user the character skin is secondary, I think Astra looks decent enough that she will have great mod a week or two after release and of course I will pull for Evelyn too, with monthly since I save right after pulling for Miyabi I should be able to get both unless I lose 50/50 twice at hard pity

She seems really good. Shes basically Robin minus the stuff that made Robin completely overtuned. Also while shes great, she doesn't seem that much stronger as a support than Ceaser which is nice. Basically over Ceaser she has: +500 Atk + 14% dmg bonus (minus sig engine) - Shield + Energy regen ÷ Personal damage/chain attack buffs Given Ceaser aint even an actual support unit id call that pretty solid. Also, last i checked, Astras Atk buff is only to the on field unit, which might cause issues for Miyabi teams in particular like Caeser does. So should probably let yall know.

Astra attack buff should be staying with the agent (like Suskaku) not the on fielder, its activated by whoever she quick assist to. Her singing buff should be full party. Cesar primary purpose is the shield + mini stunner, they dont really overlap (and you can use them both if you want).

It's hard to say whether she's less/more overtuned than Robin, Astra exchanges teamwide advance for energy regen and the chain attack buffs. She probably isn't since Robin's been the strongest unit in HSR since her release (we're rapidly approaching the 1 year mark) but I don't think we can say for sure atm. It doesn't seem like Caesar (or anyone else) is anywhere close to Astra in terms of support, which makes sense.

Possibly. Supports are generally more future proof, and DPSes tend to get powercrept eventually. Can't say for sure for Miyabi though, what with her being a Void Hunter.

​@kiel200012 she's definitely the Neuvillete of zzz. She's flexible in teamcomps. Can tackle any content that isn't ice resistant. Rather than pulling for a support that doesn't synergies with 80% of the characters in game. She doesn't synergies with Zhu Yuan since she's a burst dps who wants ether anomaly applications for her crit dmg buff. Doesn't work that well in anomaly/disorder teams, because of her element and there are other supports like ceasar, rina, Lucy and seth that will give you a much smoother rotation. She more synergies with Evelyn and possibly with Yutane.

It’s only on ult. Unless you consciously save your ult (which you shouldn’t), there’s no panic button healing. So low access, it’s probably little more than a nice little bonus that can come in clutch in Shiyu Defense and can actually matter in things like Tower. Also, Caesar already broke the ‘you must dodge’ philosophy of this game, if you want to frame it like that. More than Astra will with her sporadic healing.

I'm kind of disappointed she heals, tbh. I was kinda hoping zzz wouldn't introduce healing supports to the game. I get that shields can effectively be healing, but they feel a bit more proactive and making sure you upkeep them is important. They could do it in a a balanced way, but I'm kinda weary about it. Especially since she has an absurd amount of buffs.
