Thank You, for explaining the parts on the vehicle, most of the men just cuzz while making the KZbin video and just looses interests for me and my youngest daughter. We had replace all the sparkplugs and the ignitation coils, then we got a free diagnostic test at AutoZone and printed out the papers on what was needed to be fix, which came out to be the fuel injector on #3. thanks for reading.

Hey Dave, I think all manufacturers should stamp a number on each coil, then the companies who sell new coils should include a set of permanent stickers (numbered 1 - 10) so you can place one on the new coil before installing.

It's always a good idea to disconnect the negative terminal when working on a vehicle. i like to say that if you question whether you should or not, then ALWAYS go with should. Hope this helps!

LOL, yeah there is pine straw all over the place down here in NC. I would guess your issue would be the same as this one, and as you can see, it's easy to check. We might be giving away our ages here, but yeah, back when there were "POINTS" and a simple two bolt mechanical fuel pump on the side of the engine, things were great, LOL!!!

It has coils and I tried unplugging each one individually and it seems to increase the misfire on each one Update** I took out the spark plugs to check the condition and they were pretty burnt. I replaced all 4 and cleared the codes and took it for a drive and the service Stabilitrak and engine light still comes on also I’m still getting the bogging when those lights come on. I scanned it twice first time I got p0304 and second time I got p0300 and U0401

Have a 97 chevrolet blazer with 4.3 vortec. Code p0303 misfire cylinder #3. Replace spark plug an wires an still didn't fix the issue... Any ideas? Don't have coil packs for each cylinder so idk what else to turn to unless it could be the distributer cap & bug?

Use a spark tester to make sure you have spark going to that cylinder. Then make sure the fuel injector is working for that cylinder, and if that turns out good, you must do a compression test on that cylinder. After doing those 3 things, YOU WILL find out why you have that misfire.

Hi brother. Appreciate the video. Code threw P0305. Brothers 2004 envoy ran out of gas. AAA brought 3 gallons and the car immediately ran rough. He filled it up half way and misfired with blinking cel. We parked it as to not damage the cat further I hope. 2 years ago after changing fuel filter P0306 code came on and the coil fixed it. Is there a reason these coils coincidentally go out when something involving fuel takes place?

Have they checked the fuel injector? The valves can be replaced, but a lot of mechanics don't know how to rebuild engines so they just replace the whole engine.

Yes, it could be the wiring to the coil, a bad spark plug, the computer, a fuel injector, bad valves, etc. there are many reasons for a misfire, you just have to start checking the easiest thing first. Hope this helps!

had a cylinder 3 misfire on 2010 Hyundai Tucson I changed 4 spark plugs and 4 ignition coils number 3 coil smelled kinda burnt so after changing everything car cranks but won't start did a scan and misfire is clear and crankshaft sensor came up so un hooked battery rehooked and camshaft sensor came up so now I m gonna change those and for the heck of it i'm gonna change the coolant sensor if those don't work what do you think I could be? i'm not a mechanic but I do somethings I work on my jeep too love doing oil changes any info could help

@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos hello I had a friend help and we worked on this car for 5 hrs just located and putting in these 3 sensors got to the camshaft sensor and that was the problem it had melted and we had to pry it out so we got the big part of the sensor out and there was this little piece left we did everything to pick it out then it happen we don't know where it went so disappointed that I might not be driving this car for a while we called it a day until we figure out what to take loose we almost might have fixed it if we didn't have to deal with that piece we put all these new parts on and might be for nothing but I think we did what we could lol

2003 Trailblazer ran out of gas, began running rough and loss of power. Let a shop diagnose and approved all plugs and coils. I thought it was a fuel system prob. If I knew about this vid I would have done the work myself and saved $250 labor. But you pay for the diagnostics too. Just took it to the Chevy dealer here in Long Beach Ca and they charged $200 to "clean" my throttle body. What a waist of time 3 days in the shop and money. The truck is still running rich p0172 bank 1, p0440 evap, p0440 evap per Auto Zone. Mechanics out here are just telling me take it somewhere else. Losers.

@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos no that is the only code that comes up and it's running pretty rough. I live in Wisconsin about 3 weeks ago it was -25 F outside and I pretty much forced it to start that morning and have had this problem since. I haven't been driving it like that but am now trying to figure out the problem.

If you go to autozone or advance, and register as a business, they will bring you parts right to your house, but you will have to be a business, even if it's a home business.
