Parkour Pyramid Speedrun in

This run was done on june 15th. My initial goal was to get a mid 38, but I lost motivation. I didn't want to upload this run because I knew it was a time I could easily improve, but now I realize that I might never come back to this map due to the huge amount of work needed to master it. I eventually decided to upload it because it's still the best pyramid run by far as of now, and it might inspire people to try and beat it. This run was done before MSJs were found, so with new shortcuts the best possible time could be improved by a lot. Maybe a sub 36 is realistic, I don't know.
This run uses a datapack I made to show various info about the run at the end of each level. If you want to use it, check the pinned message in the parkour-pyramid channel in the discord.

I didn't know why you would flash your inventory on screen when initiating some of the more precise jumps, and couldn't help but wonder if they were possibly masking spices, but then as i watched and paid more attention to the input map in the corner, it dawned on me that it might be like some form of input buffering? Same with the deaths and resets, and how at random points you would take damage or be invulnerable. It took me forever to realize that the respawns granted you brief invulnerability that you were exploiting to take faster routing that would have otherwise been impossible. I never claimed to be the smartest, but I get there eventually...sometimes.

yes it's input buffering when i open my inventory. It's a trick to get a certain amount of momentum. Some of the deaths are for the invulnerability you get for a few seconds after respawning, some others are to skip a level

I was also confused so I looked it up. Apparently there's a glitch that lets the player bounce higher on a slime block if they take damage when they bounce. That's why they always either land on the edge of the slime block or tap shift the frame they land; to get the fall damage for the slime boost.
