I’ve been using this generation for about 4 years now and I still love it. Love the mode button and how easy it is to mute the mic.

The a10 feel more premium than the 2020 release of the astro a20 i upgrade just the other day and it feel likenits gonna break really easy. They should of used the material used on the a10 like they did with the old model a20. The new one doesn't come with a volume mixer just the headset and USB transmitter

They're awesome. They're comfortable, built great and durable, light, and they feel like premium headphones. They're light weight is actually a big benefit over a50s because they won't cause neck pain after long gaming sessions. The only issue I'm having now after a year is the volume rocker is starting to have some issues.

Well this is what I want I have the a10s and it was good for a year but then the audio cuts out a lot and it’s just so frustrating so I just want wireless and I’m thinking about the a20s since I’m on budget

That could very well be your wire but I understand I've had my a10s for about 4 years had to replace the wire once, and now their finally reaching the end of their life with audio issues/game and party chat audio being messed up no matter what I do.

How do you mute the mic? Is there a button or can you just push the mic up?

All you gotta do is flip the mic vertical. It automictically mutes the mic. Hope this helps

The xbox version is compatible with PC and ps4 as well but the PS4 version only works with PC and Ps4 so make sure to get the xbox version if you want to game on all your consoles

Yes it will, if your curious look up “which astros work on series x”. It will have a list of which ones work and which don’t but if I’m correct, all astros work on the series x!

On Xbox, my astro a20 mic was very buggy and would have low volume output, but I did fix it and will sometimes have low volume output but besides that it is a really good headset.

Not at the moment but Astro is releasing firmware to ensure game audio is now also passed through via USB.

Hatred GAMING Hi, Astro has made it public that they will release firmware updates for the existing A20s, A40 and A50s for series x and s compstibility. The firmware is already available for the A50 i believe but not the A20s yet. No you dont need to buy anything else, the new usb receivers for gen2 is not compatible with the gen1 headsets

Wireless if you're looking for something cheaper you might find something refurbished, if you want something wired Logitech has quite a few good options but as for wireless entry level is usually at least this much maybe slightly cheaper

They are for PC, PS4 and console, but as someone with them. I would rather have the A40's as they are much better. But if you only have enough money for the A20's and need a budget headset, buy it.
