Such a strange array of odd details... These characters seem to be some of the ones from the game, but their placement in these spots is really weird. Any guesses for why?

The characters seem to change each time you go there. So the placement is odd, not which character

@@edepot yeah, I saw some comments which said the characters were random, it was really just their placement that was odd. Maybe the extra characters are stored inside these consoles when they're not being shown? In order to easily move them to later parts of the level. It's honestly the only reason that comes to mind.
