For you guys wondering the bot wearing the costume is the costume from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters which is DLC that came out in November 24th, 2015.

Yeah it was a disappointing addition 😅 I was excited to figure it out on my own and.. it just could not be done. Hopefully the next 3 are done with more sense

Thank you very much! I love that they have this campaign leading up to the new game, but man.. I love being able to figure things out on my own.. but I have to know what costume that is, where the tiny clock icon is... what specific date (and format) that game had DLC released years ago.... oh and it doesn't start the journey till you lightly brush against a very specific bush??? I hope the next three, and esp the new game, will have better designed puzzles.. Would be much nicer if the bot we rescue had a proximity sound and if the clock had a haptic "tick tok" that you feel as you got close. Lol give me a chance!

Man, things like this make me feel so dumb. The pop up for a special challenge in render forest came on screen so I went looking but gave up. I have no idea how people are able to figure these out on their own

You have to have finished the main game. AND you have to open the game with an Online user profile! The offline kids accounts can NOT access this or the new gotchas or the new labo room.

This is such BS. This is not a riddle and not new gameplay at all. At most it's an Easter Egg. I can't believe I just wasted my afternoon playing, not wanting to "cheat" and search for the answer, trying to find an actual riddle, actual new gameplay. I do not believe any actual player found that exact sequence by playing the level. Either a developer leaked it or someone reverse-engineered code. But not by randomly standing in the right corner and so on residuals entering the date. That is not in the spirit of the original Playroom where you actually play through and if you miss something, go back and look under everything and you will find every piece. It's not even Myst/Riven-level problem solving. It's literally know how to reveal an Easter Egg. I really hope the Astro Bot game is nothing like this. The only reason millions are crying out for a full game is to continue to the love of the game play. I am now CANCELLING my Digital Deluxe pre-order and buying it on Amazon instead with 30 day change of mind returns. If it's good, I can still return it and buy the deluxe anyway but can't refund the deluxe. If it's really good, I might keep the physical copy since it includes a neat poster and it's 20% cheaper than the digital standard one. In the meantime, my kids are so disappointed that there is no new gameplay.
