He's only remembered because of his poor, immature attitude on X-Factor. I saw him in a couple of movies and he was aight. As for his rap music, I don't have an opinion because I don't listen to today's rap music but I'm sure it sounds the same like everyone else to me. My advice to this kid is to ride out your 15 minutes of fame and save your money.

That girl who won, the only and I mean the only song she did well was her audition song "Listen" by Beyonce. That's why after that she got sent home but they went back for her because Astro disappointed them mind you there were way more talented people than her.

This is a good kid and ppl on here that dis him don't know him or everything that happened on the show. He is learning and he is honest about what he needs to learn and how things have affected him. Which is more than I can say for people who comment without listening!!!

I thought he was disrespectful to Simon in his audition. I really believe that, but the kid's got talent man!! And i guess the attitude is a part of that. I watch the judges houses performance regularly. I am still in awe of it. Some advise: tone the attitude down just a bit. Cos i would have loved to see you win that competition. You are amazing!! xxx
@Littlelisa55512 жыл бұрын
i agree completely!His mind is still at a 14 year level.Not to make excuses for him,sometimes being makes it hard to step back and see the whole picture. You tend to go off on emotion and do or say the first thing that comes to mind!

I agree he's got talent, thats no question. That is overshadowed by lack of gratitude which he showed on the show. Yes he is 14 but there are millions of 14 year olds hu would never show what he showed if they had the opportunity to be on a show like that. Talent is only appreciated when there is none of that bad attitude.

He got signed by L.A Reid and then ended up doing a song with one of Simon Cowell's Artist, Cher Lloyd. Last time I checked thats success. If people were hating on him, then its just part of the vicious cycle. He's a teen so his attitude is expected, but in reality you gotta be grateful for the opportunities that are given to you..

@escobarstatus Cause we the best! We dont believe people wont break tides with their own for us. Even when we clearly are better. It's like us voting for a black Prez, but it happens to us more often...and is crucial because we always gotta compete as the underdog. This kid the only phenom on that show...everyone knew he would be the one we still know 10 years later...but why doesnt the world treat him like that? Because people are being honest with themselves..they support what the wish was
@femylafi7 жыл бұрын
Its funny how from a young age.. black children can see how a black mentor benefits them through relating to them... yet when this role is reversed within schools.. where black teachers make up less than 10% of teachers.. you can see why they feel like they have no mentors who understand them.... and as Astro put it, feel like they are going crazy.... powerful speech from a young black kid.. trying to do constructive things...

. He has a lot of growing up to do. He a has a God given talent. If anyone could not see he did nothing but throw a temper tantrum when not getting his way on that show was not watching it. As far as not being treated fairly, that still shows his immaturity. If anything he should have not even made as far as he did.. Every category was rap and then condoned it. I don't recall much country rap out there, do you? He has a bright future but it needs to be at a slower pace.

Why is it my people have been raised to believe if something doesn't go our way that it was because we weren't treated fairly or we were discriminated?........we have been mentally programmed to think everyone owes us something or that we shouldn't have to work as hard as the next man..

He didn't understand that dr. Dre wasn't a sponsor to x Factor and they asked him because of that not to wear the beats headphones because he gets recorded and video taped on and off the air. Astro was to young to understand that.

@Steadno And singers don't read or write notes ether unless they know how to play a instrument so i don't understand what you mean by "hard work", and some people like James Brown & Stevie Wonder(a blind man) play instruments without knowing, or in Stevie Wonder's case seeing what a b minor was. WOW!
