I do like that with my setup I’ll be able to easily swap back and forth between mono and OSC. I think I’m going to keep one space in my filter wheel reserved for the duo narrowband for that reason. @@egg0408 Hi egg! Thanks for watching and commenting! Sorry for slow reply, I’ve been in the mountains of New Mexico for Bortle 1 imaging trip. The Artemis M Pro is a great camera. Double check its sampling with your scope on Astronomy Tools. For me it is a bit over-sampled but I have not found it to be a problem as long as my guiding is good. Note that it does have amp glow. This is also trivial and is removed with Darks. It has a great field of view and excellent resolution. Beware, file size is about 96MB /per image with Bin1. Your binning options are great. The cooler works perfectly, even in cold weather. You lose a USB compared to ZWO but that is not an issue for me. I just run my guide camera direct to my Powerbox. The USB C will not work with ZWO guide camera. That’s all I can think of off the top, lmk if you have any specific questions. Cheers! Doug

You purchased directly from Player One in China? How long did it take to ship to you? Will you talk about how to adjust the tilt plate and what to look for that requires the adjustment. My ASI071MC Pro has a tilt plate but I don’t see any instructions on how to adjust it or when to adjust the plate. I suppose if you have oblong stars? If you have a focal reducer can any corner or edge anomalies be corrected by the tilt plate? I guess all 492 sensors have amp glow. I’m going to continue using OSC for now. I’ll probably get a narrow band filter and try your process to blend broadband and narrowband. Are you going to be moving to PixInsight? I’m surprised Siril scripting library hasn’t been expanded. Hi KJ! Yes and it was delivered in 7 days! I haven't had a camera before that had a tilt plate. I have a decent understanding of how to adjust though. There is a tilt adjust tool in NINA that will provide tilt info. With the P1 camera, since it is accessible to adjust tilt without removing the camera, I can use the plugin in real time to make adjustments and review their impact. If I do not have any tilt to begin with, I will not be adjusting tilt. Better to leave well enough alone with this. You can determine if you have tilt by the star pattern around the edges. If you are happy with your images then I wouldn't go searching for things to tweak. If you are seeing oblong stars on top or bottom, or one side or the other then you are out of tilt adjustment. If you are seeing a radial or lateral stretching of stars then that is probably more related to backfocus distance. I'm not concerned about the amp glow. In Bin 1 it is hardly noticeable. In both Bin1 and Bin2 it will go away with Dark Frames which I use for every session anyway. I don't have any immediate plans to go over to PI, I'm happy with my current software tools. Cheers! Doug

The problem with this brand is that it only has one USB port instead of two like other cameras, a big mistake by Player One.

@@Villarreal863 Hi! Thanks for watching and your comment! My Artemis-M Pro has two USB C ports. I presume you mean in addition to the main camera port. I run my filter wheel off of the other port. I run my guide camera and Focuser to my WandererBox so I have independent control of them. Initially I was miffed about it but I really haven’t found it to be a problem at all. Cheers! Doug
