So we need to send a signal opposite SN 2023ixf to announce ourselves with the possibility that some alien civilization is observing the supernova and records our signal, correct? What would that signal be? Since we know the stars within 100 ly in that direction we can target those systems and predict the earliest possible response, correct? That would be a long term project.
