Thanks for a great presentation ❤ I love this concept. About limitations of controls - for a stage musician it’s not a problem. It’s not a “studio” synth, like Polybrute, it’s an instrument for playing music.🎶

Is it true as I hear, the Astrolab is limited to just two splits or layers? If so, this is a huge limitation. A laptop or modern workstation style keyboard like a MODX, Fantom, Nautilus can do many splits or layers. If this is a limitation of Astrolab, the keyboard would be best in a multi-keyboard rig.

@@koncreteto2758 Well, maybe not. It's a brand new instrument and there are a lot of details most of us don't know about it yet. Please explain how many splits/layers you can do with the Astrolab. Does it require using a computer to use more than 2 splits/layers? I've posted about this on KZbin & FB a few times. No one has commented yet explaining if the limitation is as I am assuming, or not. I've been traveling, and haven't seen the full video here yet.

That tiny screen looks so lost and inadequate. This product should have had a fold-open 10-12" touchscreen just like a tablet or laptop, which could display a proper UI for programming, and quick patch selectors (or a score) during performance.
