This is excellent! My Twelfth Lord is the Moon in both Vedic and Western astrology, and in Cancer. Everything you said about Twelfth Lord in its own house applies to me. Even to my employment in places of public need; hospitals, nursing homes, welfare, courthouse, mental health, etc. As you say, my journey is very much "within", I don't really need to go anywhere. And my chart ruler Mars is there too, so I guess it's not happy because it's in Libra and Saturn is there. I do live an extremely isolated life, not entirely by choice. A weird and wasted life is how I would describe it. Funny thing, at first I was relieved that my 12th house Lord Venus is in the 9th, but then I remembered that is my Badhaka house 😂

Ive been curious about the 12th house ever since i gave birth to my daughter whose moon is in the 12th.. which was very interesting because everything about the 12th was exactly how my pregnancy went. Full isolation in a foreign country, a secret, no friends, no baby daddy, little family (though it was a lot of tension), had 3 different hospitals. Yes! Gemini in my 12th house, with Rahu. I try to uphold very high standards for my self based on my principles, which I have learned the hard way, through trial and error. My Mercury is in Revati, conjunct Sun- and in terms of the 12th house lord causing physical problems, I do have teeth problems inherited from my father. But Mercury is in the 9th house, and I have been focused on mysticism and spiritual concerns my entire life. And have had many clashes with my father. Disruptions in regard to education and travel have certainly occured- and I avoid contentious people who create drama.

Firstly thank you, as usual much more enlightening than one would expect. Ketu in the 12th, really made sense. I have always need to be, and feel just fine being alone. The minute I did begin to meditate and was in essence alone, my life changed. And yes, somehow my material life improved practically overnight. Second, my Vyayesa Saturn goes to the 8th in birth chart, but 9th in bhava chalit. Jupiter/ me in 9th. I have an extended 12th house Aries Taurus and part of Gemini. With Sun Aries, Venus,Mars and Jupiter in Taurus. So as you can see the the 12th house lords, Venus and Mars conjunction are in the 12th house along with Sun and Jupiter..my mother left when I was still a baby, my father tried his best but was absent most of the time. I spent a lot of time in solitude and blessings felt out of place most of the time. At 16 I decided to leave home and found a job and lodgings, life was hard but I never felt alone as I was aware of my guides. I married young and had a daughter before I was 20 and it was the first time I experienced unconditional love. 5 years later I experienced a hemoragia and was told that I was expecting a baby boy, quite a miracle considering i was taking contraseptives for years. It was a difficult pregnansy with a 50% chance of losing him at childbirth. His heart stopped once while giving birth .but my Steven was determined to come into the world. He was such a good baby and grew up very popular with friends. But the private part of Steven was the altruistic and spiritual side of his nature. Then at 21years of age his time had come and he passed over. There are no words to explain how devastating this was. I am lucky that I have had lots of contact with him over the years. And I am certain that my life has changed since that fateful day. Studying Astrology for over 30 years has given me a lot of answers and the 12th house has a big part in the picture. Feedback: 12th lord venus in 12th house. I take my aged parents to hospitals every month for routine check up and I enjoy time alone. I spend most of time either in meditation or online surfing internet for ebooks and reading or listening to religious scriptures online. Coming to charity, I love being in service to others. I am spiritually inclined. I have academic degrees and certificates and most of them do not come in us for long time. Born in 12th house Mahadasha, I have to stay away from birthplace. Earlier my parents were healthy but now they are not keeping well. I am happy that I have the opportunity to serve them. I do not know about remedy but I think naturally in my life remedies are done through routine work. Extra effort is not needed.

Another indicator of moving to foreign lands is if the lord of 4th house is 12 houses away. My 4th lord Jupiter is in 3rd house. Also, my 12th lord Sun is conjunct Rahu and Mars in 10th house. Since childhood I was dreaming of moving far away from my home place into foreign lands. During mars dasha it happened so fast. I live and work far away from my birthplace. Even when I was working in my homeland, the 12th lord in 10th house was giving me work with foreigners.

I've been studying astrology a bit and myself have a challenging chart.. My 12th Lord merc is in 4H, so the problems with career have been the mainstay of my life. Also, I have ketu in 12H, and I've been interested in spirituality and meditation since a very young age. Have quit all social media and no longer have any contact with friends from college or work, since more than 7 years now and I have never been happier. 12L merc is combust though. And conj moon + sun, which are 10L and 11L respectively. Again, the sacrifice extends to the career doubly (both xos of the aspect and 10L conj) + 11L of social circle and gains.. So have been happy ever since I quit the circle and quit working altogether. What wasn't mentioned (apologies if id missed it) is that even the karakas of planets conjucnt 12L are affected. My mom and dad (moon and sun) have been the single most influential factor in my life. Both cos of their love and care (to the point of rendering me unable to cut the cord) and through trauma that their toxic relationship had one growing up. 12L with moon should indicate mental health issues too (although I have Sa+Mo in 12H of D9 too 😂😢) I wonder if it's asking me to sacrifice home and family too (like becoming a monk) although ke of obsession in 12 means I'm obsessed with sex too. Maybe with time itd become clearer.

How can someone not be materialistic about 2nd house? (will jupiter 6th house or rahu 2nd house be helpful in anyway)

my 12h lords from ascendant and moon are mercury, moon, and venus. moon is in the same house as my jupiter and rahu. mercury and venus are both in the same house as sun. 6 planets in critical condition/ crisis 🥹

Hi Gina is this evaluated from ONLY the D1 (Natal) chart or from the D9 (Navamsa) as well? Please clarify ? 🙏

That's a great question. I wonder if the placements are better in D9 if that means things can get better. For example my natal chart isn't nice, if only things improved in the D9 that would be a relief. But I'm not sure if that's how things work, it's a bit confusing to me how much power the natal chart has over the other divisional charts or vice versa. Can a divisional chart override the natal chart? I really don't know.

D9 is chart with different bhava meaning…for example 12th house in D9 is death circumstances . (Check my video on D9) Yes you can read in D9, but it will have different angle to it. Only chart where all bhava meaning stay same as D1 is D60.

My 12L moon conjuncts 4L Mars in 4th house. Residing in foreign land due to marriage but it’s also because my Jup and Rahu are aspecting each other in D1 & sitting together in D9
