Thank you for the excellent explanation! I was also born during Mars retrograde and when Mars was out of bounds, right on my ascendant. It often feels like I’m never truly part of the game. Instead, I feel like the referee in a soccer match, moving to a different rhythm and focusing on specific details rather than just following the ball like everyone else. However, this position also offers me a better perspective on things.

What great timing that you are also one of the first to catch this video! Thanks for sharing those great insights and images about your placement - right on your Ascendant - powerful. Love the referee image. Wonderful that you have a sense of the perspective you're able to activate through this placement.

My Natal Mars was Retrograde and Out of Bounds😊

Wow Marianne. Amazing that you were also one of the first to catch this video! Any insights about living with that placement that you want to share?

@AstrologyUniversity this Mars' energy has enabled me to get out of rough situations with the extra determination and discipline I needed. My Mars is in Capricorn, Opposed by my Natal Jupiter in Cancer and was Sextiled by my Saturn (Mutual Reception), all close orbs! This probably helped a bunch! I will come back and study your video! Keep up the good works 😃

Also, both of my daughters (12 years apart) were born when Transiting Jupiter Conjuncted this Retrograded and Out of Bounds Mars. My second daughter also had her Mars Conjuncting my Mars, too! She is a blessing still, after decades later!

It s really interesting how Mars went retrograde in Cancer in 1993 and was out of bounds then. Now, it is doing the same thing... 32 years later - with both Venus and Mars both going to go retrograde and returning to the same positions they were in 1993.

Tony, I am literally LAUGHING (with you!!) with this video and its content. I am completely new to astrology, and took the beginner's class on AU (still have level 4 to complete) about a week before Mars went Retrograde in December 🙃And decided afterwards to fully commit to a full study of this topic! And then, for the past 4 weeks, I've been asking myself a LOT of questions about my current job, why I do it, do I really like it, would I be ready to take on new challenges, what if I quit, and on and on and on... A lot of instrospection. A lot of wondering if I would be able to maybe participate more actively with something that helps other people instead of just office and technical work. I am a very headstrong person with lots of willpower and stubbornness sometimes, and I speak up maybe too forcefully sometimes, so I am in the camp of people who needs to check in with "slowing it down and observe before lighting the furnace to 1000 degrees" lol TY for teaching me on this new topic of astrology, I wrote down some notes which will help me in my self-reflections! Note: the OOB date on your slides states 2024-01-01 I think you meant 2025-01-01 (I found the date 30 Dec 2024 10:34:32 pm (EST +5:00) on another website)

OK this was good for homework for my AU beginner class. I consulted a declination ephemeris table (out of curiosity!) and found out I was born during a Mars OOB period (in Cancer), trine with my Sun in Pisces. I don't know what that means, but I will figure it out evetually!! :) Also, thank you for including the bits of technical definitions in the video, I always appreciate those on top of the interpretations!

Oops! Thanks for catching that typo. Definitely 2025! And wow, it sounds like you're really "in it" with this particular Mars retrograde. Based on your next comment, that makes perfect sense - you're probably having a "Mars return", but this one is special being out of bounds, like it was for you natally. So glad you're enjoying the classes. There's so much to learn!
