Food for thought. I dont care for the name "12 letter alphabet" though it's ironic that the smallest alphabet of any known language has only 12 letters. But the basic concept that there is a correlation between places/houses and signs/temples, I do feel is relevant. Despite learning from two traditional astrologers courses (Chris Brennan and Adam Elenbaas) that discredit the concept, I feel they inadvertently justify it. One of the biggest issues that most people have in trying to say there's no connection is trying to explain why there is a 12 house/place system? And the only answer goes back to the point of there being 12 signs. There's a reasoning for 12signs but not a seperate REASON for 12 houses. There's 7 planets(including the north node would make 8) and there was a mention of an 8 house system that no one even uses. So for example Disneyland are different from Disney. But you can experience what makes Disney..Disney is by the physical places of Disneyland. So with that Aries and the 1st house are different in one represents the metaphysical theme and the other the physical but the 1st house can be considered Aries-land. Interpretively then the Aries in your chart could feel like there's a present, bodily, inception, beginning, "lagna", "head first" etc theme to it. Like having Aries in the 6th house can feel health, deliberation, service, and/or daily work routines is what everything there life is hinged on. Through 6th house themes is where the native renews themselves or "bring their self into being". Or the head and the hair has a strict daily care and regimen. Or there's a tendency to be present or physically connected with 6th house themes like enjoying cleaning. Since there is a connection to the signs and planets as well, these themes can also carry over to the planets but as you know more complexity.

Libra rules my 2nd House, which in Placidus has Neptune in Scorpio. I feel it. Money doesn't mean much to me when I see others in need, and I never make loans, I just tend to give it and forget about it. I sucked at renting out rooms in my house. My sister up and just stopped paying rent (that's more about her than me). But my Virgo Sun/Rising want security now that I have Long Covid and have to consider early retirement. Virgo's a penny-pincher, though, and that's anti-thetical to an abundance mindset. 😕

@@arwenanduin sorry, I'm strictly a traditional whole sign house astrology baby and have a very limited approach to using Uranus, neptune and Pluto. I was just curious. So from the perspective of whole sign, Mars, the ruler of the 3rd house of siblings, friends, hobbies and 8th house of others income, inheritance, and "karmic baggage"(Adam Elenbaas phrase he uses for 8th), is in it's Fall in the 11th house of friendships, career income or how revenue is brought in after a career, hopes and wishes. And conjunct Venus the ruler of the 2nd house of self income, valuables and values and 9th house of beliefs, morals and travel is conjunct that Mars. Which is opposing natures trying to merge, mesh, occupy the same space or come together to make something new.

I have Uranus 2H and every few months I get a random deposit from one of my teenage “business” endeavors LOL. I have a reusable bag design that’s been selling pretty well the last 5 years, very Uranian as it says “eat the rich”. I’m a software engineering major (Aquarius 2H) but I’ve been applying to speciality food positions (bee farms, infused oils) and farm jobs because I enjoy being outside and burn out really easily from monotony due to ADHD I have Neptune there as well, and I really resonate with what you said. I never seem to have an excess and I’ve learned to be comfortable and creative with that. I hate seeing my friends struggle financially as I grew up in extreme poverty and understand the constant anxiety about security, so I do tend to go out of my way to provide as much support as I can. My friends dad was having sm fun using my VR headset that I ended up letting him keep it, and I got in trouble as a kid for giving away my toys and gifts.

Pluto i in my 2nd and i didn’t relate to it - but I VAN get money/resources for what i really want, even though I have a lot of psychological blocks around managing money. You mentioning that the psychology needs to be taken care of resonates too. Also, I do have power objects around me, from a charm bracelet to ward off evil eye, to sticks I have found while walking, to sentimental items (which contain mana). looking at these from a Pluto perspective reminds me to stand in my power.

i'm cap rising with saturn in the 2nd house, exactly square pluto, exactly trine my jupiter & looser trine to my sun. Resources were super tight growing up & my parents lived in a lack mindset for sure. Lately i've been consciously working on releasing my fears about money by giving to tons of charities & homeless people, just like you said! it makes me feel so fulfilled to be able to help even one person & i've noticed my money flow has been increasing, all kinds of new opportunities presenting themselves to me out of nowhere. My long-time boyfriend is a quadruple taurus with capricorn moon in the 2nd house, he & his family provide for me now so ever since my saturn return i'm feeling WAY more stable in the material realm with much more energy to work hard when opportunities arise. Ultimately with my saturnian nature i really do love working when it's something I enjoy. Landscaping/gardening jobs bring me the most satisfaction. I have Scorpio (also my south node) with Neptune in the second house. I have had many jobs in the creative industry. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer to work as part of a group doing the same work (such as editing photos for books). Whole sign Saturn in the second. One of the hardest driven lessens from childhood was that money should be SAVED. I was very often cojoled, remdinded, guilted, and competed with (by siblings) to SAVE any money I received. It was a hard won lesson as I lacked discipline in childhood (heck in adulthood, lol. But less so now). At the same time, church drove home the value of tithing. While I don't go to church, I still believe in tithing to whatever charity is most meaningful in the moment. Even when times are tough, I push myself to save and tithe all income. In recent years, I've improved in investing and trading securities and commodities. These were not easy lessons or habits.

No planets in my second house but it's in Libra. I love buying beautiful clothes. It's vital for my happiness and it relaxes me. I also love giving special gifts, especially to my kids. I can be broke, but if it's their birthday or Christmas, they have to have something really special that they would love. My father who has his sun in his second house has been a benevolent patriarch to his whole family, providing so much financially for everyone but he plans very well and doesn't understand my desire for extravagant gift giving. 😂 Of course, I have to watch my spending. Pluto in Scorpio - 2nd House, trine Venus in Cancer (10th), and square Mars in Leo (11th). There have been times where I was able to use spellwork to increase my reserves but I haven't been able to find a way to attract a substantial steady income. Unfortunately that square from Mars ( day chart) I think really causes difficulty. I thought tapping into the Leo energy would help (performing for money) and I have made money that way in the past but there was always something about it that didn't work quite well or had issues. Part of my issue is whenever I am the one who takes action ( Mars) it doesn't work out for me, but if someone invites me into a situation it works. I often end up stuck in some way after the fact.

Thank you for this video, it gave me more insight into my relationship with money. I have Jupiter conjunct pluto in Leo in my 2nd house, and have wondered why money has not been more abundant in my life. Then I realized that my Jupiter Pluto conjunction is in a tight T square with Scorpio moon, and Taurus Venus. I’ve worked very hard for what I’ve earned through my career, certainly not wealthy by any means. I tend to make emotional purchases on comfort/ beauty items. If I buy an item of clothing for instance, and I love it. I’ll buy two more just in case it wears out and I’ll have to be without it. There’s a fear of being without, and not being able to buy it in the future. A lot of anxiety related to security, real or imagined. I wonder what will happen when Pluto in later degrees if Aquarius opposes my Jupiter, Pluto conjunction, setting off square aspects to my Venus moon opposition. Fear of losing my possessions, security, or even my life. Scary

Pluto in the 2nd can be trauma, fear and obsession over resources… usually it’s connected to past experiences (or it’s just this innate feeling) and not connected to actual threats to your livelihood the present moment. This placement with the conjunction to Jupiter can be used to your advantage and does have the potential to create a lot of wealth, but the psychological issues typically need to be worked through first to help unlock more of that potential… even with the t-square I’d say it’s possible!

I can handle it well when I have it and tend to be a saver and investor rather than a spender, yet I am terrible at making it, and in the past, any time I have managed to accumulate even a small amount, I end up losing it or needing to spend it and have to start back at the beginning.

*Differentiating 2nd and 3rd house* I would say that 2nd house is the value while 3rd house represents that value. So actually money, coin, currency, etc is actually 3rd house with the intimate connection with what gives currency it's value in the 2nd so people, places and things.

​​@@malissagee4211 I would love to explain the rationale. First the 2nd house is part of the 1st house triad. Which means it's more integral to the self. This brings a point I disagree somewhat with the point that 2nd is not what we eat. The expression " we are what we eat" is also expressed by the 2nd house is set to rise after the 1st house of "self" by primary motion so how what we consume changes and effects the self is apparent. Anyways, money can purchase things that build up the self but money itself has no real value for that purchase. Maybe some who walks around holding stacks of cash in public but in general, no. The 3rd house represents what has fallen away from the 4th house of..house, property and what has been stored up. 3rd is a social, marketing, commuting and flowing type of house. So what helps for us to interact in this way is CURRENT-cy. Let me point out something Heather mentioned, derivative houses. This shows an intimate connection between the 2nd and 3rd because the the 3rd is the 2nd house from the 2nd. So the possessions of possessions. The valuables of valuables. So considering that if we had a barter system or you pay for goods with precious stones, metals, livestock, produce, and yes even people etc then sure we may look at solely at the 2nd house. But now we use a currency that represents those things of value. If second house is a farm then 3rd is the farmer's market. Moon has it's joy in the 3rd house. So consider what moon represents on an economical prespective.
