I think what I've learned is that even the most healthiest and long-lasting couples have disagreements, arguments, and have to reflect and talk it out. Everyone's description of a healthy relationship is different. They understood each other ,compromised, and offered unconditional positive regard. There is no one size fits all to have long-lasting, healthy, and fulfilling partnerships. It takes a lot of emotional awareness and understanding to Tailor the relationship to the needs of both individuals. I have seen these relationships and know they are real and possible. We may think it's all candy canes, unicorns, and rose coloured glasses thinking, but it's not. It's more realistic and possible than others comprehend. But it's important to recognise and understand the limits of a relationship.. There are healthy boundaries that are necessary to the foundation of the partnerships.
