Tarmazing It would be nice if that were somehow inherently true. It would probably significantly reduce the risk of basically species suicide risk if there’s an encounter of some kind, improve feasibility of long term shared living quarters and broader mission success. Humans too often suffer from delusions of grandeur and think they’re so big despite occupying pretty much one planet of many. Humans are also prone to aggression/conflict that is often unnecessary or unprovoked at the moment.

In weightlessness, you are effortlessly floating, because all of the acceleration forces on you add to zero. The most comparable feeling is floating in water without the sensation of water on your skin. Because you feel so light, you can move about with the slightest amount of effort. Space I would imagine is akin to experiencing one negative G all the time(the one -G offsetting the normal force of gravity). They recycle water, and "scrub" CO2 - they have systems that turn waste water (both from the toilet and pulled out of the air,) in to clean water that can be broken apart again. They also have "CO2 scrubbers" that split Carbon Dioxide in to solid carbon and oxygen gas. (The famous "McGuyver task" from Apollo 13 - where the CO2 scrubbers for the Apollo Command Module and Lunar Module used different size/shape filters.) Lastly, every resupply mission (on Russian Progress, SpaceX Dragon, or various European craft,) brings up fresh water, since the recycling systems aren't 100% efficient, and there are losses.

I'd honestly like to have the 5 or 10 minute conversation with Mr. Kelly. I don't need photos, just a conversation. The conversation lasts longer.

The speed of ISIS is how fast a Toyota pickup can drive without losing the gunner for the DshK set up on the truckbed.

I believe you decompose faster in low gravity environments because there is less gravity to pull the fluids into different parts. High moisture stuff tends to decompose faster than drier materials.

Would like to have known how he felt the first time he looked out the window down to earth, I reckon you would feel emotions youve never felt before, amazing but quite saddened too, still want to experience it like millions of others do.
